That wasn't Kings/Hawks in Game 7, but you won't find too many games crazier than Caps/Pens tonight.
This Penguins/Capitals game is the polar opposite if the excruciatingly boring Kings game we had to suffer through earlier today.
Maybe that's why all the Pittsburgh scouts were in LA; they just didn't want the heart attack.

Wow, BOS has 47 GP. TOR and OTT have 41. Don't recall such wide gap(s). Bye bye. Do we need to go to Points Percentages in the standings?
Maybe they should consider that, 6 games within a division is terrible.
Not sure it matters either way. Boston has those points, and Toronto and Ottawa still need to play those games. They'll all eventually play 82 games. Should Toronto and Ottawa take advantage in their 6 extra games, they'll be fine.
It's like a player. Do you look at total points, or what they're on pace for? Like anything, it depends on what argument you're trying to make. Can make stats say anything you want. Speaking of which...
LOL @ the Pacific Division. Look at the true W/L record of the current playoff teams. Ducks at 24-22 is ahead of the 26-18 Sharks. Oh yeah, we're at 22-22. I used to hate tue idea if bringing ties back but I just think it's embarassing to call someone a winning team when in reality, it's a .500 team.
If you really want to get deep into it, the Kings are 12-18-14 in the 60 minute sample size of a regulation game. That's 10th in the West in points%, and 11th in just points. 24th and 25th overall in the league. The Ducks are 21-13-12, the Sharks 20-16-8. They're fine. The Kings aren't really a winning team. They have a great 3v3 OT record, and Calgary, Dallas, Nashville, Winnipeg, and Vancouver aren't great.
If they weren't losing must win games in Edmonton, or giving up a 3-0 lead at home to the Jets with the division on the line, and then couldn't even beat them in OT, or giving up a 12 point division lead in the 2nd half, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. But, for one reason or another, they've sort of been a bit of a paper tiger for the last 213 games.
