It happens with everyone that is not in Chicago in the west unless they play in Canada. And even then if they are in the west they aren't as good as those playing in the east.
Look at Weber, people were righting him off to a degree while in Nashville. He's now in Montreal and he's a #1D again.

Yup, whoever has the weaker record by win percentage (as opposed to points) gets priority. Before November 1st, the priority would be based off of the previous season's standings.

That's just embarrassing and given his 4 goals at almost the midway point (and 1 came last week) and that he was pretty much invisible in the playoffs when he and the Caps 2nd line fell off a cliff, he ought to spend more time shooting at the net instead of diving away from it.

Bummer for CBUS. So close. But hell of a run. Would like to see them keep it up but I'm sure there's a small letdown to be had up ahead. Hell, anything under .750 is gonna look awful in comparison, they could go 7-3 in their next 10 and get questioned!
 
I know the kings game is about to start, but this Gold Medal game between Canada and the US is awesome. Tied 4-4 going into overtime. Canada had 2 2 goal leads against the U.S. and lost the lead both times.

US looked timid in the 1st. But the game has gotten better as it's gone along. OT should be great.
 
nevermind Campbell... but can someone explain to me how an Empty Net isn't better than Zatkoff??

why not just put 6 players up front, i don't understand

Seriously, that was so bad/He had to clue where the puck was until it was past him. And it was the 1st shot of the game if you even want to call it that
