Sportsnet article today said that the Bolts are enforcing a dress code for Caps fans attending their games. Can't wear the color red or any garment with the team's logo in certain areas, the Lexus Lounge (seats around the glass) or club luxury suites.

“Fans wearing visiting team-branded apparel will be asked to remove such apparel while in these areas,” the team said.

So Philly and Carolina's AHL affiliates played a 5 OT playoff game last night.

Some long time Kings fans may get a good laugh out of who scored the OT goal. Like father like son

Amazing game for Alex Lyon. Phantoms win 2-1 , despite being outshot by a wide margin, 95-53. Lyon stopped 94 of the 95 shots he faced. He gave up the game tying goal early in the 2nd and then had 79 straight saves, almost 120 minutes.

That's ridiculous. Can't wear your teams colours and cheer them on.

****, I wish Staples Center would enforce the same rule. I am honestly tired of visiting fans trying to invade other arenas.

I would propose that when the Knights visit they sing America the Beautiful. The late Warren Wiebe used to belt it out from time to time at the forum during North Star/Dallas Star games.

Does the NHL prohibit teams from doing this?

What happens if a fan refuses? This is so stupid. Fans pay good money to go to these events and cheer. Just let them go in.

Imagine how dumb that would be though if Kings fans went to the Pond in Anaheim or in San Jose and they're not allowed to wear their apparel, or if they were denied entry. That's a load of bullshit.

In all honesty, would you WANT to do that, especially with your family, go to another team's arena with the opposing team apparel? I mean, it SHOULDNT be an issue, but people today are flipping nuts, how many stories have you heard or read about where a fan gets attacked because he's cheering the other team? That's just nuts....

I'd be fine. It's their place and they want it to remain looking like a home game. I like the way they do it in Europe. Away fans have their own sections instead of blending in with the home crowd.

Same exact thing they do at college games. The problem is this, if the opposing fans aren't filling those seats, you're going to have a pretty empty arena. I remember how embarrassingly empty The Forum was during the post-Gretzky era (even his last year here it was bad).

They also had plenty of empty seats post-2003, hence them introducing the Dave Taylor die-hard section and other promos to get fans into the building. It was also the cheapest time to become a season seat holder during those lean years.

Pre-Gretzky was even better, go in, sit up high, sit down low, sit on the glass, behind the bench, pretty much wherever you wanted, attendants didn't care at that point, hell I remember running around the tunnels after the games, it was fantastic...now..good luck with that lol

That is insane. You're going to have to fight me and pull this jersey off Rob Ray style.

I don't act like a jackass in other team's buildings but I'll wear a Kings jersey. Thing is, you don't have to wear a jersey to act like a jackass and make the home team fanbase want to fight you.

They are limiting it to certain areas of the ice that appear to be visible on television. If they were concerned about fights, they would ban it from the entire upper bowl.

That being said, it is a pathetic move. Love seeing both a visiting fan behind the glass all excited while everyone else is bummed and the visiting fan looking distraught as he thinks about why he spent $200+ to see his team get trashed and have a bunch of people yell at him all night.

Laine is shooting 8% this post season, after 18.3% during the regular season. If his sh% rebounds, watch out. All the remaining teams are dangerous... this is a very close final four teams (Preds or WPG).

Think they'll hold on. Good for Winnipeg.

That is a fan base that is extremely deserving. Reminds me of the Kings in 2012 except the Kings still had 1993. I don't think these guys had won a playoff series since the 80s.

Thank f***, rat hockey is dead this year.

All the diving all game by Nashville so shameful, yet damn near impossible for the Jets to get on the PP because they actually stayed on their skates while the yellow jerseys were TRYING to take penalties.

Justice served in the end, f*** off Nashville, glad to see you burn. And Johansen suuuucks
