That was interesting... Empty net with 7 minutes left in the game down 3 but only 20 seconds on the power play. Boston scored and went up 4. Game over. Down 3 with 7 minutes left isn't impossible. Not sure why you pull the goalie.
 
If Dean finds a job with power in the NHL I wonder how he will do.

I bet he's taken a long look in the mirror with all of his big blunders and time off.

Too early to predict, but a Boston vs Winnipeg Stanley Cup Final would be very interesting.

I'm sure he'll crush it. Look at how he learned from his previous positions before coming here.

Keep in mind the rumors are for a President position, not GM. That's a big difference and my god would I KILL to have him in that role for us instead of Luc.

The lottery played out pretty well for the pacific only adding so much talent in the near term.

#10 Oilers (thank god)
#7 Vancouver
#5 Arizona

Calgary of course traded their pick, it wound up #12.

Buffalo, Carolina and Montreal are the remaining 3.

Gallant talking about "well, if Bellemare even plays, he'll have a full face shield." NOpe, he's playing, and he's fine. Just like Carrier, who was 'day to day' immediately. So deceitful.

Miller embellishing yet again, acts like he can't get up, looks up at ref shaking head, pops up and make a play on the puck.

Oh I know, That's why I said in a position of power.

If he has truly owned up to the new NHL style, and building a young team then yes.


He did seem really burned out though and older people tend to be stuck in their ways.
 
Kept hearing about this incredible pregame show that Vegas puts on. I saw it tonight. Corny ice capades, some sort of ice shark villain guy, bad drummers playing high school parts in lighted glasses. I realize that this kind of thing doesn’t always translate well to TV, but unless there was some Cirque Du Soleil shit going on off screen, I don’t see what the hype is about.

My loneliness is paralyzing.

Boston-Winnipeg very likely would happen. No doubt I think it's gonna be Vegas vs. Winnipeg West, and Pens vs. Bruins East. I say Bruins vs. Winnepeg Cup Finals and would root for Winnipeg. Hate everything Boston!

In other words, for the folks who think Drew Doughty has little impact on the games, check out how many points VGK's top lines have in this series vs. the Kings series.

At least SJ's offense is better, it took them 10 minutes less to score their first goal of the series!
