Lol let me complain to the media about someone complaining to the media (which Doughty wasn't even). Kid thinks he is important.

Only goal for this game is for Clifford or Nolan to beat the **** out of Tkachuk. Although our boys probably won't care enough or he will turtle and refuse to fight.

It's true Brown's enthusiasm has dropped substantially. Back in the day he would be looking for the big open ice hit on any Calgary player tonight. I'm not expecting it now though.

More than Clifford, Nolan, Andreoff, or whoever else, I'd love to see Brown go after him. Just because Brown was never really that guy. Which, probably means he won't be that guy tonight either. Richards was that guy. Even 4th line empty jersey Richards would've gone after Tkachuk. Nothing would please me more than to see Brown stand up for a guy that he's been with, through all the downs, ups, and downs, since this whole thing was beginning to be built.

Just heard on Sportsnet during the 2nd intermission of the Kings/Flames game that the expansion draft lists will be made public after all.

I would want Tkachuk as a king. There are pests out there I never would want as a king (perry, Burrows come to mid) but Tkachuk I would.

The legends of the game discuss what it’s like to lift the greatest trophy in sports, the #StanleyCup.

Featuring Jonathan Toews. The ball gargling this guy gets by the media is astounding.

The NHL hypes up the biggest star in what is currently the biggest US hockey market.

It was Messier in the mid 90's when the Rangers were king in NY.
Then it was Yzerman in Detroit when Detroit was Hockeytown USA.
Now Chicago is by far the biggest US market and it's Toews.

And yes, all original 6. All captains. All Cup winners.

Anyone here still hoping for playoffs...

Toronto just did us a solid (and hopefully the first of many) and beat Nashville.

Kings need to win next 6 games and have Nashville or St. Louis or Calgary lose all of their games. Highly unlikely, but not impossible. Flames have Kings once, Ducks twice and Sharks twice. Ducks and Sharks are both hoping for home ice so they may not phone in these games.
Do I think it will happen? Nope but I just downed a root beer float so I am I little euphoric.
I am still going to hope the Kings win until mathematically eliminated.

Never underestimate the power of a good root beer float.

Yeah if Brown had played for Boston when they won the Cup and was their captain you better believe he'd be there too.
