My god, John Kelly is unbearable to listen to. Every shot the Blues take his voice goes up 5 notches like they're going to score on each & every shot.

I would have to think the longer this game drags on the more it favors the Hawks?

Was that Kane that had the puck but kicked it out to the blue line where the Blues recovered it? He coulda carried it out. Ends up turning into a goal.

Solid strategy by the Blues. Beat the crap out of the Hawks for 3 periods. Don't worry about any offense at all. Shut down the Hawks offense. Then bank of the D for the win in OT.

Can't wait to see what they do in the next game.

Edit: I haven't seen Lundqvist cry like that since 2014.

Holy cow, a lot of great hockey all day. Just getting caught up.

That Detroit-Tampa game was actually pretty fun to watch. I was the least excited about that series, but that game was entertaining.

I agree, very shocked. Two typically charmin-soft teams that wanted to murder each other out there too. And Kucherov is a beauty.

That game quickly became a must-win for the Blues. They weren't the better team (and Chicago got better as the game went on), and because of that, they needed the win because they needed the mental boost they could beat those guys in a series and a little luck doesn't hurt.

Hitch has them so focused on D, they seem to have forgotten they need to generate some offense. That was tough to watch because it looked like the Blues were well on their way to defensing themselves to a first round exit.

Yeah. Blues don't get that bounce, it doesn't look like a good game plan at all, but it worked.

Relying on shutting out the Hawks may not be the best idea.
