Hate to say it but I totally agree and I wouldn't be shocked one bit if this did happen. Would be my worst nightmare if these two teams made it into the Cup Finals. Two of my most hated teams in the NHL. Vomit! Heyward and the Pens play by play guy.

Good grief. 1st playoff game in a while at FLA, favored to win this series - and lots of empty seats.

Pretty much totally agree Hockey in Miami is brutal. Quebec would sell the crap out of any arena every freakin night even on off days(okay exaggeration) but would be a lot better then where the Panthers are playing. Don't know about Seattle but Quebec would love the Panthers.

Not many butts in the seats in Florida. I want to echo the sentiment that this is embarrassing for hockey in South Florida but I can't bring myself to agree alongside self-important Maple Leaf fans.

Wild with one shot with just under 5 minutes left in the 1st. And that one lone shot was a long distance shot.
Daaaaaaaaang just like that Isles up by two. Was wanting overtime hope the Panthers can tie it up.

Nooo, I'm traveling and the Kings game is on after the MYI/FLA on CNBC. Don't want to miss 1/2 the first period.
That game was awesome though. Very physical.
Both the flyers and the caps played with the energy I expected the kings to play with.

If the Preds win the first round, I could live with a Kings first round exit. Remembering the two cups we have won puts me to ease. Just can't stand the thought of Anaheim tying us in cup wins.

i'd like to see more back to backs than 2 day breaks. Love the NHL playoffs but it goes on for a long time.
When there is not travel needed between games 1&2 and 3&4 why not play back to backs?

Some times that is the only way to get the building without pushing it to a 3 day rest. Which is really almost worse.
That's too bad, I seem to recall they had a decent crowd when they played the Devils in 2012. I went to their arena last year for the Draft and it is a bit out of the way. 30-40 minutes north of Miami and I'm not sure how bad their rush hour traffic is.
