Saw a report that if Panarin finishes in the top ten in points, he gets a $1.725 million bonus. That would put the hawks in bonus overage for next season by $2.64 million.
They are so screwed if that happens.![]()
1) Kane 96
2) Benn 88
3) Crosby 81
4) Thornton 78
5) Pavelski 76
6) Kuznetsov 75
7) Gaudreau 73
8) Seguin 73
9) Wheeler 72
10) Kopitar 70
11) Panarin 68
12) Tarasenko 67
Seguin out with an injury. Lewis/Brown don't leave Kopitar's side until playoffs. We got this.
Get Panarin his money!!!
Oh, he'll get his monies in 2018. 2017 will be the last year on the cheap for the Hawks.
Wow, Stamkos out 1-3 months.
Poor tampa, I guess they get to see how they go in the playoffs without him, and see if they do want to offer stammer the coin he's after.
It seriously sucks for stamkos. It takes away a chance for him to drive up his value by performing in the postseason.

For #NutsBolts, asked Paquette who best trash-talker in NHL? Brad Marchand. Tells recent callups, 'Enjoy your stay. You're going back down"

This. Scary for Stamkos, feel bad for him and the Tampa Bay team. The Maple Leafs will be keeping an eye on the situation, I'll bet. Tough situation.
That's cold.

I don't know how many times I've heard "the Hawks are so screwed" from a cap perspective, and they always managed through it just fine.
This Boston-Chicago game is almost embarrassing to watch
No TV access, leaving for church. Details?

I'm staying out of the Norris thread for the rest of the year. It's gone full troll.
