He sure has...but the whole reason why he purchased the team in the first place was for his kid to play. Doesn't sound like it was any secret so how the OHL could approve the sale and now be pissed is beyond me.

Yeah, but in this case the owner is acting like Big Brother and the league is setting things right. If the son doesn't merit that ice time, he's taking away crucial development time from kids who do. NHL teams have a lot invested at this point in those young players and the OHL doesn't want a clown disrupting that.

Sure, he paid his money, but he's not the only one with a financial investment in that organization - whether directly or indirectly - and he should have thought a little more about the consequences of his actions on other stakeholders before he started throwing his weight around.

And whether or not the OHL should have seen this coming doesn't mean they have to be paralyzed now and let it continue. My 2 cents...

Funny. Only a couple nights ago, Kings failed to get a goal overturned when contact was made with Quick's head but tonight goal overturned for contact with Howard's head before the shot is even taken.

Yep, I noticed that too. The difference was Quick didn't flop backwards to sell it, and Charron aka #6 wasn't officiating. I can't remember who wrote it, but the next day some beat writer ripped into Sutter for abusing the coaches challenge while completely ignoring the goalie contact prior to the goal.

Calgary hasn't beaten the Ducks on the road since the dinosaurs roamed the earth. Not surprised at all they're beating crappy teams and I see the same outcome vs Buf / Edm later this week.
