I think Hamhuis is overrated--soft and mistake prone with the puck. But maybe some of that is his role. Not sure about it to be honest.

If there is one thing Hamhuis isn't it's soft.
Lombardi was big on Hamhuis before he signed in Vancouver and then DL signed Mitchell as a consolation prize (best consolation prize ever!!)
So I could see Lombardi asking for what the cost would be. I imagine the price for Hamhuis has gone up now that Buff is off the market. So not sure LA will have the pieces Vancouver would want.
I would like it if the cost was right though...but I am far from optimistic.

A nice read, obviously its going to be an emotional game for lucic.

Boston's coach said it will be emotional for them too. He said Lucic left on good terms and has a lot of good friends in the locker room including the coaching staff.

Much of Lucic's game is physical..hopefully he does not hesitate to drive his friends through the boards.

Lucic is a great player, glad he is playing for us and not against us tomorrow.

Lucic is a great player, glad he is playing for us and not against us tomorrow.

Im not sure if its because I didnt like him before or I just didnt watch enough Bruins games, but hes so much more skilled than I had previously thought. factor in his endearing emotional side and his toughness, its easy to see why the fans loved him in Boston. not many players like him around the league

It's now confirmed, if you turn the puck over to Getzlaf and he has a clear shot he will score. No turnover, no goals. Still 3-1 Pens

The last time Gibson started against Pens he gave up 6 goals and was yanked. Tonight, another start against the Pens with the exact same results.

Any threads on the main board asking inane questions like "IS scoring going up based on the number of blowouts since the All Star Break?!"

Watch Crosby catch up to Kane

A few more 4 point games and he will. That second goal after being hooked twice, to the point that it looked like Fowler was water skiing behind before he scored was impressive. Crosby could've been given 2 penalty shots he was hooked so bad.

GREAT DEAL BY THE SENS....basically a 2nd for dion

Actually, I like the trade for Toronto. Able to get rid of Dion's contract with no salary retention for basically a second in 2017. Good deal.

Dion is a good player, but not for his price.

GREAT DEAL BY THE SENS....basically a 2nd for dion
