And it's one penalty after another. DeBore probably still thinks the Blues haven't been called enough.

Well, I didn't get to watch yet, but I did see the Blues got one more PP than the Sharks, so I'm going to guess the Sharks media was *****ing about that disparity despite scoring 2 PPG, right? I'll go double-check :laugh

If not, I'm just going to guess that instead there's some creative accounting of how the Sharks should have won 6-0 instead.

If neither of the above maybe they're just satisfied with a win for once since it was a blowout

Jones did get beat a lot tonight, but there wasn't ever a Blue there to clean up the rebound or if there was they just rang it off the iron. Wasn't their night.

Sometimes, yes. We've seen him just put one of the 3 lines out on the pp plenty of times.

he usually does that because a lower line is playing well so he is giving those players some PP time, or to send a message to the guys who aren't on the PP to play better

He'll also put some sort of 3rd/4th line mashup out LATE on an expiring Kings' PP because, what the heck, it's over anyway and they can take the next ES shift (against the other group's PK, who are also usually 3rd/4th types) while the PP regulars rest up and get back into their usual lines and changes.

Depending on who's in the box when the Kings are killing, he'll line up that guy's linemates (too often Lucic's) late in the PP, so they are good to go when the PP ends.

That Daryl Sutter is a crafty one.

Blues fans are already throwing in the towel in this series.

They're looking like the Kings in round one. Can't get anything at even strength and their special teams play has been pitiful.

This has also been the easiest workload for any goalie in the playoffs, Jones can sit back and smoke a stogie while the Blues struggle to enter the zone or struggle to get shots through. That sounds eerily similar to what we witnessed with the Kings doesn't it?

DeBoer really has been the best coach in these playoffs. Outcoached Sutter and doing the same to Hitchcock.

Time to start preparing ourselves for the Sharks raising the cup in a few weeks. I see them running through Pittsburgh or Tampa Bay just as easily.

Not so sure on this one. If Pens get great goaltending they have the offensive skill to punish SJ if they keep sending 4 guys to the net.

Eh, it won't bother me much. I was at Luc's final game which was in SJ and I was impressed by how classy they were towards him by honoring him during a TV timeout with a thank you message on their jumbotron and with their players lining up to shake his hand once the game was over. I don't hold a grudge against them, I save that mockery for the Ducks.

Jones has yet to have to make a serious game changing save this entire playoffs. Like you said, he's had a very easy playoffs, and the only time he was really tested was against Nashville and then they ran out of gas.

Not sure about that. The Sharks are playing fast, the Pens and Bolts are faster teams. Pens-Sharks would be pretty even.

Part of it is the Sharks playing calm and solid. Part of it is the Blues just falling apart mentally. You can see their simple mistakes and miscues. This is something for Hitchcock to address but I doubt he can. He's just not that kind of coach.

And it may cost him his job.

Agree totally. Mike Sullivan has been able to make Crosby, Malkin and Kessel stay focused and play for the team. Still hope the Sharks lose in the SCF just for DeBoer's insanity.

Yeah they're just flat out folding. Can't coach guys to execute simple plays, this effort is embarrassing

He looks like a different player, the guy the Leafs and Bruin thought they were going to get.
