This last page of Sharks praise makes me feel like we're the bully who beat up on the nerd for years, and then the nerd finally popped us back, and so now, after the initial shock wears off, we're giving the nerd a respectful nod and pat on the back.

Better them than the Ducks. Least they don't have a team full of ******** like Perry, Perron, Kesler, Bieksa, Getzlaf, etc.

That makes it sound like the Kings dominated the Sharks for years. Since the Kings got good again in 2010, it's pretty much .500, both home and away, regular season and playoffs, and the Sharks are probably ahead by a game or two after this season. The Ducks in 2007, that was annoying. This year, the Kings got their ***** handed to them in LA against the Sharks all season long, and I think it's just easier to take and accept with 2 Cups in your back pocket.

I still do not want to see the majority of regular Sharks posters happy, just like I take pleasure in the Ducks HF fanbase being let down horribly the last four seasons.

It's all about the Ducks not getting that second one. I don't want SJ to have one, but I can live with it as long as LA is at two.

Pretty funny though if one were to go back and read the crowing from many on this board about how the Kings "ruined" that franchise and slammed their window shut. I should check my posting history before bringing it up, but a lot of people on here look pretty stupid right now.

I also feel that the Pens have been unstoppable since I changed my avatar to me ribbing a Pens fan during a December victory this season. I'd change it since I dislike them as well but I'll take them 100 times over SJ so I'm going to ride it out.

pretty good 3rd line centre if you ask me

He's actually been playing LW with Couture at C and Donskoi at RW. That line has been productive after the Hertl-Thornton-Pavelski line. The Sharks are getting production from many sources, that's why they've gotten as far as they have.

And who would've thunk that their toughest playoff opponent in the Western Conference would turn out to be the Nashville Predators? Their win against the Kings was easy and thus far the Blues don't appear to be much different in the Conference Finals: a matchup that heavily favors the Sharks.

As a Sharks fan, I want the Kings to get 10 Cups before the Ducks get 2.

I wanted to avoid Nashville in Round 1 so it is not surprising. They had the defense and goaltending to make noise, which they did.

Thought Weber was not good in Game 7 against the Ducks and he followed that up with a stink bomb in Game 7 against SJ as well.

Too funny.
I'm ok with either Western team winning right now. Of course my order would be STL then SJ. Just because of the pain STL has faced. They are about to enter their 50th year without a cup. And while they did make it to the finals 3 years in a row it was as the consolation team. Who gets to get killed by the team from the other conference that had been around for 50 years. And that is exactly what happened they were swept 3 times.

They've got 4 guys over, at, or near a point per game, and then another guy sort of close to that. That's like the Kings in 2014. The Sharks are just doing it on the PP, where the Kings scored mostly at ES. The Sharks have played 11 fewer games than the Kings did 2 years ago, and the Kings and Sharks leading PP scorer had and has 10 points.

Agreed.

You really have to give credit to Deboer for navigating a really tricky lockerroom situation. He put humptydumpty back together again. Great coach.

Yah I'm not feeling the "yaay go sharks.... they deserve it" like some of you. Wish they blew up their team. But I do take them over the ducks though.

Or... people that didn't get their shots in while the opportunity was there look stupid, because they're now the better team.

Gotta get while the gettin's good.
