Nashville was completely unprepared to play except Rinne who managed to make the score actually not as ugly as it easily could have been. The guy got absolutely shelled in the 1st period.

I'm not sure if that extra day helped the Preds . Wished they played the normal one day off while the loss was still fresh in the Sharks mind.

The extra day was because last night the SAP center was being used for a Selena Gomez concert.

I actually really felt for Rinne. Didn't realize he was so competitive. The rest of his team were a bunch of no shows, that dude did everything he could to make the series competitive. I'm proud of him, I thought he was toast after the injuries, but what a battler.

Regular season:
Forsberg - 82GP, 33G, 31A, 64Pts (1st in goals and points)

Jarnkrok - 81GP, 16G, 14A, 30Pts (5th in goals)

Forsberg - 14GP, 2G, 2A, 4Pts
Ribeiro - 12GP, 0G, 2A, 2Pts
Jarnkrok - 14GP, 0G, 1A, 1Pt

Grow, if some of our guys sleepwalked through the playoffs these three were put in a coma. That I'd downright ugly.

Man. I said all year Forsberg would disappear in the playoffs and was lambasted by Nashville fans for it.

I'm not happy it happened because he's a very likeable player, but it was obvious to me...

The Blues and the Sharks have finally learned after years of choking.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut.

This was the perfect storm year for both teams. Both the Kings and Hawks are going though transitional, post-championship growing pains. No one else in the west is experienced enough to stop them.

The Blues and Sharks have been good teams for years, but the Hawks and Kings always stood in their way.

Why did you think that?

Like JWill he's good at finding space, but once we tightly contested him and started hitting him, he started coming unglued and losing composure. Getting rid of the puck a step early. Bobbling it so he didn't get crushed by Drew again. His patience/IQ is one of his greatest assets but his poise was flappable.

Oh, good call. Haven't seen him play much and didn't even notice him at all in the playoffs.

Friday the 13th comes with a high body count. Feel for TB, they've really been fighting thru injuries for a long while.

With the dust settled, only Bishop appears to be truly injured(beyond bruises, sores and such). But that's a big loss. Tampa controlled the play though and didn't let the Pens play to their strengths.

Sounds like Toffoli this post season.
