By the way, the Kings are wearing their gold legends night uniforms in Boston on February 9, to commemorate the 50th anniversary for the award of the franchise to Jack Kent Cooke that day, February 9, 1966.
 
welp, pretty much worst case scenaros all day outside of the Arizona loss. Suddenly SJ has won 5 straight and EDM/CAL 3 pt game.

That's good to know for the GDT. I'll try to remember. Weird that we'll be in Boston, yet we'll be the ones in gold.

No worries, i am glad he's doing well over in Washington. Richards got robbed by Raanta today, so close to his 1st goal in Caps uniform, unbelievable save.
 
Happy for JDub. I'll never forget Brownie saying that Williams' "please don't give up on me" speech was one of the sparks that woke up the Kings when they were down 3-0 in SJ.

He is having a good year (and played a helluva game tonight) and he's having fun, top minutes, top linemates, PP time , and it shows how much he's enjoying it. I'm glad he's shining in DC, he's really given them a new dimension in leadership, in critical game situations, and that will pay dividends this spring. Good signing by Brian Mac. I hope he hits 30 goals, 16 in the bucket.

Richards had another strong game, 11:47 of ice time, was 14-6 on draws. Tied for team lead today w/4 hits. 3:00 on PK. And had a very active stick.
Was moving well to the last shift, back to back games after almost 9 mos off.

[Mike] Richards has quickly become an important player for Barry Trotz. Sunday, he centered the fourth line alongside Brooks Laich and Stan Galiev. For the second night in a row, Richards skated around 13 minutes. He was again called upon for major PK minutes, skating three minutes a man down. He was great. A promotion to the top-nine doesn’t seem far off. This is looking like a great signing so far, albeit through two games. Richards was also 14 for 20 in the faceoff dot.

Caps Hawks Finals would be pretty dang good. Both teams have firepower and good defense. Hate to say it unless we get a good veteran dman to help out a bit, our D will not be good enough to get past the Hawks. I'm all in for the Caps hate to see the Hawks win another one.
