I alluded to us possibly ending the Bernier streak two pages back. It just seem like it's going to happen because it's all too fitting.

Anyone else feel like they've seen this movie before?

NM, RP has.

That's a very very very very bad Toronto team guys. Kings would have to have even a worse game than they played in Ottawa to lose to this absolute **** excuse for an NHL team. I don't think it happens twice on this road trip, and the Kings pepper Bernier. Remember, Toronto's defense usually abandons their goalie throughout the game.

So, exactly the kind of team our 'control' system struggles with!

So what you're saying is... a GARON-TEE a win by Toronto.

I think Bernier is a good goalie(not great), but awful on Toronto. He'll make those initial saves though and I see so many when Toronto plays where he will make the first and second and the third would finally go in and it's like "What is he supposed to do if they can't clear his crease?"

But I don't think he's as good as the top goalies though. I don't think he has the Jedi skills.

I want to see how Polak looks on Saturday. Just looking at the stats, he's the only defenseman on the Leafs with a positive +/- (+8) and he's playing just shy of 19 minutes a game. I think he'd be an upgrade on Greene if we can pry him from the Leafs, but I haven't seen him play this season so I'm not sure.

Polak is just a durable Matt Greene. It's not worth giving up assets for the guy and the only reason Toronto pumps him up so much in trade proposals is because that's the only half decent defensive defenseman they've had in like 15 years.

We don't need any more glass and out slugs.

Would be interested to see how many other teams have had. 2010-2013 maybe not be fair to judge just yet,

You are suppose to get at least ONE player out of ever single draft make you roster(2012/13 may be a little unfair ATM).

That is terrible drafting by Vancouver, and it's why they are in the situation they are in.

Boston and the Kings lead the way since 2006. The Kings have 12 players since 2006, Boston has 13

The second best goalie in the world just got lit up for three goals in the first by that offensive juggernaut, Winnipeg.

Bruce Boudreau.

How does he still have a job ? Seriously.

I don't think he is the main problem in ANH, but you can't fire all the players.

Tampa Bay just choked away a 3-0 lead and are all tied up against Washington.

That TB team just ain't the same. Struggling just to get into a playoff position.

I think their problems start with Stamkos, the guy is not a complete center.

To Stamkos credit, he is trying to play a more complete game, but it's hurting everything about that team.

"Best defensive core" in the league is currently posting the worst numbers among all teams. Hemorrhaging nearly 3.5 goals per game. Flames also have the worst PK in the league by nearly 4 percent, the worst PP, and have a hilarious -22 differential; which is also worst in the league (tied with Coulombs). I remember hearing more than a few Flames fans saying their defensive core was better than the Kings. Kings currently have the best defense in the league and are a consistent top five unit. But that's none of my business.

They're not gonna keep winning with all those bad stats, just because they're averaging 4 goals a game. They did to Dallas what they did to us last December coming back down 3 goals to win the game and are riding the wave just like last year. They may make it as the 3rd seed, but then again so might ARI.EDM, or ANH.

The Pacific is so bad, two playoff spots will be up for grabs all the way till the last week of the season.

I think a weal for polak is a fair trade. He would fit nicely as a greene replacement and lets be honest Weal just isn't fitting in anywhere
