Jonathan Bernier hasn't won a game in the NHL since March of last season. Let's hope the Kings don't play the part of slump busters.
378 shots. Lose 1-0. Jack Johnson -3.
Anyone else feel like they've seen this movie before?
NM, RP has.
I alluded to us possibly ending the Bernier streak two pages back. It just seem like it's going to happen because it's all too fitting.
That's a very very very very bad Toronto team guys. Kings would have to have even a worse game than they played in Ottawa to lose to this absolute **** excuse for an NHL team. I don't think it happens twice on this road trip, and the Kings pepper Bernier. Remember, Toronto's defense usually abandons their goalie throughout the game.

Would be interested to see how many other teams have had. 2010-2013 maybe not be fair to judge just yet,
I think Bernier is a good goalie(not great), but awful on Toronto. He'll make those initial saves though and I see so many when Toronto plays where he will make the first and second and the third would finally go in and it's like "What is he supposed to do if they can't clear his crease?"
But I don't think he's as good as the top goalies though. I don't think he has the Jedi skills.
Tampa Bay just choked away a 3-0 lead and are all tied up against Washington.
That TB team just ain't the same. Struggling just to get into a playoff position.
"Best defensive core" in the league is currently posting the worst numbers among all teams. Hemorrhaging nearly 3.5 goals per game. Flames also have the worst PK in the league by nearly 4 percent, the worst PP, and have a hilarious -22 differential; which is also worst in the league (tied with Coulombs). I remember hearing more than a few Flames fans saying their defensive core was better than the Kings. Kings currently have the best defense in the league and are a consistent top five unit. But that's none of my business.
The Caps put up 4 in the third period.... Wow Tampa.
Polak is just a durable Matt Greene. It's not worth giving up assets for the guy and the only reason Toronto pumps him up so much in trade proposals is because that's the only half decent defensive defenseman they've had in like 15 years.
We don't need any more glass and out slugs.
Tampa vs Anaheim in the SCF...all the media at the start of the season.
