Doughty's twin sitting behind the Avs bench at the Shark game, guy looks like he could be related to Drew

Say what you will about the Oil/Flames/Sabres.

Florida has the core going forward for me. They have their 2 way #1 center beast, and an all situations #1 Defensemen. Those are the 2 keys to the cup for me. If they can build a team proper, they are the team in the East for the next decade for me.

Nicklas Lidstrom basically should have won the Norris every year from 1998 to 2011. Maybe that one year Pronger also won the MVP would be the exception.

I love Drew, and I love Karlsson and maybe this is a bit of nostalgia coming in here, but I think both guys have a long long way to go to be compared to Lidstrom, and I really doubt either guy ever reaches the level.

The term is throw around a lot but Lidstrom truly was a generational talent.

Sharks 4-10 at the Guppy Tank.

Amazing only 14 home games vs. 21 road games. Usually that's a good thing going forward, but who knows at this point.

Maybe a little bit of nostalgia but I think you're right, but also consider what Lidstrom was doing at their age...they're actually both pretty much right on track. If they can keep maturing and not fall off a cliff at 30, then they can be Lidstrom-like players in their 30s. They're both building insane legacies already.

Blows my mind that SJ is so bad at home. That has to correct itself by luck alone.

SJ had the 24th best home record last year at 19-17-5, so I guess it shouldn't be that surprising, but a league worst 4-10 is a bit ridiculous. Especially when they have the best record on the road.

Sharks somehow lost 6-3 while outshooting Colorado 36-28, winning the a lot more face-offs, and outscoring them 3-1 at even strength. Ahahahaha...

aaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddd.... 10 points in the lead again!

Jebus though....

Goals Against:
Kings: 79
Coyotes: 109
Canucks: 109
Sharks: 100

No one but the Ducks even CLOSE. If only they could goal.

Only team in the Pacific with a positive goal differential...many minuses in the double digits. SJ is 'only' a -4.

More impressive when remembering the Kings started the year -10 with 12 GA and only 2 GF after the first three games.

From game 4 on, GA would be 1st and GF around 7th in the NHL.

Yes makes sense.

Striking because I think defensively he was kinda weak. Yet the PK is something different than defensive play.

Would like to have him back though. We could use him so much.

But Henrik is >>>>>>> than Quick!!!!!

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
Well 7 games is just that of course. Everybody is going cold so now and then but he's having a horrible streak yes. :)

Lundqvist has always been better in the RS and never really disappointed in the playoffs either so I kinda agree overall he has been better.

I'll take Quick 9 times out of 10 and probably that 9th time as well for the post season.

Haha...remember when we were so awful away from Staples Center? Good times, man.

Sam Gagner waived. I wonder if he'd be an upgrade at 4C? I can't believe he's fallen off so much, used to be a decent player.
