This is actually a very cool idea. This could be a boon to some of the newer D1 programs or perhaps schools looking to start up a D1 program.
From the nhl.com landing page, I legit thought this was Justin Bieber for about 10 seconds

McDavid is well over 1000 pts into his career and hasn't even played on Team Canada with Crosby yet.
I'm legit angry that the NHL has kept international play from us for so long. McDavid is well over 1000 pts into his career and hasn't even played on Team Canada with Crosby yet.
We are just as close to last place in the Metro as we are to Carolina.Carolina lost again?
Interesting….
For a team that was supposed to BE IN last place, that's no bad, right? We are just as close to last place in the Metro as we are to Carolina.

He's just completely regressed since leaving here and it doesn't help that Chicago is a flaming dumpster fire. He's just turned into a guy who could look good on a good team but doesn't help make a bad team better. Werenski has totally grown into being a guy you can build a defense around. Jones is not based on his play in Chicago. We definitely dodged a bullet on this one. That being said Werenski-Jones was the best D pair in the league and its a shame we didn't get to see that continue due to Jones short sightedness.
Agreed, Since the two of them split it really became clear that Zach can be great with an average or above Partner. Jones needs a great partner to be good to great. He's just completely regressed since leaving here and it doesn't help that Chicago is a flaming dumpster fire. Good for him. I hope Elvis gets one eventually. We don’t bitch and moan when a defenseman ices the puck with an empty net. I’m all for any goalie trying to get one when an opportunity arises.Alex Nedjelkovic (an Ohio boy) became the first goalie to record a goal and assist in the same game in NHL history tonight, in net for the Pens.
Don’t tell Elvis.
So just to keep the fire burning what if Chcago ate 3mm of his salary or even up for Severson? If teams are calling someone must see some value still there. Also assumes Chicago wants to trade him. He's just completely regressed since leaving here and it doesn't help that Chicago is a flaming dumpster fire. I don’t think that deal would be worth it or add anything. I’d be concerned with the locker room fit at this point. He burned his bridge here by asking out when the going got tough. So just to keep the fire burning what if Chcago ate 3mm of his salary or even up for Severson? Oh, now that's going to make a head or two explode. This is going to sound heretical to some but I think Severson might be a better player than Seth Jones.
Jones lack of intensity and aggression when so physically gifted can be pretty frustrating. Dude was very good but could have been great.Oh, now that's going to make a head or two explode.
I think in their current incarnations this is probably accurate, although Severson's high-profile mistakes do make him much more exasperating and thus easier to get frustrated with.
Both players at their best I’ll take Jones. Does Jones play at his best?Oh, now that's going to make a head or two explode.

Agreed, but the last time Jones played at his best we still had Panarin and Bobrovsky. Both players at their best I’ll take Jones. Does Jones play at his best?
Thus the question.Agreed, but the last time Jones played at his best we still had Panarin and Bobrovsky.
