We're now 6 back of NY but they jump Philly for 2nd spot. We're 5 points back of the 3rd spot which is still bad. I think we do have 2 games in hand over NY so if we somehow win those 2 games, we would be 2 points back. Which then makes it a close race again. But winning the two games in hand will be hard.
It sucks that Philly/NY plays each other on Wednesday. Hope for a Philly win in reg I guess because of the games in hand over NY.

No time any longer to watch who is in front of the Jackets, time to concentrate on the teams battling right around us. I don't see the Rangers dropping enough games now for the Jackets to get back into third.

Honestly, if we have to miss the playoffs, I'd love to see all those smug Rangers fans joining us on the outside looking in. That appears unlikely, but I can dream.

I know its 4v4, but watching Boston, enter the zone, drop passes, Dmen joining the rush, why don't we ever do these things without looking stupid? I haven;t seen too many O zone pinches by our dmen this year.
Not so sure about that considering Philly's schedule the rest of the way. If we win a couple this week and Philly struggles this could level out pretty quick again.
The Rangers have an easy road (in theory). Don't think they'll drop below 2nd now.
