LT has been terrific. Can definitely see them extending him as they don’t have any heir apparent in the pipeline. LT recently said he loved being a Golden Knight but needed a fresh start, and the Caps have been very good to him, so hopefully there is mutual interest in keeping him in DC.

I would not give up on Stevenson/Gibson just yet. LT is only 27 years of age. I would probably sign him to a 3 - 5 year deal, maybe around $3 - 4 million per year. I think he has it in him to be the Caps #1 goalie, which is something Kuemper failed to fit right as.
