Subban is a me-first ****** who I want nowhere near my team. But he's damn good and I do like the Habs.

In fact, most of the teams in this year's playoffs that I life are Eastern teams. The only West team I have even moderately positive feelings toward is San Jose. In the East, I've got the Pens, Leafs, Habs, Sens. Even the Bruins. Isle I historically don't care for nut am ambivalent this offseason. Only really dislike Caps and NYR, and I like Oates and NYR has ex-Jackets.

Subban has that rap about being into himself but I still would take him..., he's never played on any team other than Montreal so we don't how he would be in a new room.. but that's my rational...

I'm mixed on the Rangers, historically I can be quoted from years past as being in their court but with all the CBJ players there now... I'm mixed..

I harbor no ill will towards Nash. That being said, it'd be kinda neat if the Blue Jackets won their first playoff series before a Nash team did.

The Rangers/Caps series is so close I can't predict a winner other than the fact the Capitals were on a role going into the playoffs and the Rangers were fighting for their lives...

Next season some of our best games will be played vs the Rangers....

The one thing about a guy like Subban: He's had success, and played for winners at every level. There are guys who have success and their teams are terrible (those are the "attitude problems" I would worry about) ... and there are guys like Subban, who I think just get perceived as such because they are cocky.

Nicely stated.... look, Subban might be poison but if he is would the Habs be in the playoffs right now with a significant cancer in the room???? I say probably not...

The guy needs a chance in another organization before writing his obituary...

I gather Subban fell in line this year. And he's awesome, and was great in all aspects tonight. Huge hit, set up a goal. All over the ice.

I'm rooting for the Islanders to beat the Pens (no chance, though), and the Hawks and Blues to win their series. Other series I either like both teams or dislike both.

A good night for the Jackets. Go Wings, Caps,Blues & Sens. I'd mention Isles & Wild too but they are toast.

He is a talent and if what some are saying is true about his attitude why would he need a "chance in another organization" when the Habs would just prefer to keep him? It doesn't matter whether or not I would want him on the CBJ because he's a young player who his current team likely wants to keep. I was just offering my opinion of the player.

Personally, I think a lot of the "Subban has an attitude problem" is a subtle racial dig. We've heard the lamenting for a long time over the fact that too many pro players act like robots, then when someone comes along that challenges that at all, he's cut down pretty quickly.

The common theme among the ones with "an attitude problem" I can think of is that they're not English-Canadian. Mario Lemieux was French-Canadian. Brett Hull had dual citizenship and represented the USA internationally, and both he and Lemieux took a lot of crap for being perceived as "whiners" (a label never assigned to Steve Yzerman, who plenty of actual officials said was the biggest whiner in the game). Alexander Ovechkin is Russian. PK Subban is black. Basically, if you're a white Canadian who played in the WHL or the OHL, you're fine...anyone else may be tagged as "head case" or "attitude problem" or "locker room cancer".

What I said is my opinion based on what I've seen and experienced. It is not racially/culturally-motivated in any way. And I am offended that you would attribute my opinion such. I'm actually besides myself that you would accuse me of such a thing. I'm actually sitting here considering posting a list of my least favorite players and letting you sort out their ethnicity/nationality - like that's some thing I should have to do.

Thanks you for telling my PK Subban is black. Like I wasn't aware of it. I don't care. What I do care is that, in watching him play, watching his on and off the ice, in reading what he says, I find him to be, as I said, above, a me-first ******. If, as someone suggested, he's shaped up of late, more power to him.

I'm not accusing you of that; I apologize if it came off that way.

I'm going more after the media and the anti-Subbanites within the world of hockey who have constantly harp on the idea that there's an inherent attitude problem with him, or that said attitude will either prevent him from becoming an excellent player or from ever being a part of a team that achieves success.

And... she's fired.:shakehead

Seriously? That is Chicago, progressive hell. I figure they would celebrate her previous work. It's not like they didn't know about her previous work.

I used to live there, I'm surprised they found enough people to care enough to complain.
