Many fights breaking out now. Maybe some suspensions for MIN before tomorrow's game? We could only hope.

Edit: Konopka and Rupp both get game misconducts.

Interesting worthless stat:

The CBJ and the Rangers are the only teams this year to have a 100% winning percentage when leading a game after two periods.

Edit: whoops, put this in around hockey and not interesting info. Meh whatever.

Jim Nill could be on the cusp on getting the Stars GM job, would have to think that former CBJ assistant, "One Trick" Bob Boughner might have his name thrown around as a potential coaching hire then.

Nill was very high on my "want" list when MacLean was fired, I think Detroit refused to let us speak to him, that was the rumor, anyways.

Rumors swirling (Pro Hockey Talk) that Thomas Vanek might want out of Buffalo. Depends on if Buffalo is looking at a rebuild. That would be a big fish available if true.

I'm not so sure it makes sense given that we just got Gaborik (and probably want to avoid having 2 marquee players coming off the books the same year) but we've definitely got the pieces to get him.

I didn't say we should go after him, I'm just saying that is one potential big name player available in the league.

I agree. I'm sure Quick blames Quick though, how could you not?

I'm sure he does as well(I could see him saying, "All the saves that I made doesn't matter, I didn't make the last save and I let my team down"). I'm sure his teammates told him not worry about it and focus on the next game. I went to the Kings board and all(well most) the fans are blaming him. If that was Bobrovsky, I don't think I would be doing the same.

I've revised my position a bit though- that goal was all on him, a boneheaded play in the playoffs on a long power play. The loss is harder to pin on him overall since he made some great saves, but that was a terrible individual play for the position. I don't blame Kings fans. Except for being Kings fans
