And Keller going to Columbus as well right ?Laine, Roslovic and a first lol.
This is EXACTLY what JR needs to target. Chychurun matches Canucks core age group plus has terms. So would be a trade for long term as he would eventually replace Myers.Chychrun’s term (3.5 years) is enough to make him attractive to middling teams looking to get better.
Ryan Strome, Julien Gauthier and a 1st amirite

Rathbone is better because he has shown good potential playing some NHL games UNDER Green who sucks at coaching while no one knows how Broberg will play at NHL level. I bet Rathbone under Bruce will blossom into a great offensive dman. How do you figure Rathbone is so much better than Broberg?
I take it and run!Hey, Panthers fans. Would you send Ekblad to the Coyotes for Soderstrom, Hayton and a 2023 1st?
Didn't think so.
You're not getting Chychrun without it stinging a little bit

I dont know, we have to see what happens with Broberg once in the NHL and actually playing. I mean Juolevi was a bust so you just dont know. Aside from that, Boeser is a lot better than Yamamoto who is light and weak, and is struggling. Boeser would have way higher value which makea the Canucks package more attractive. The Oilers could offer Poolparty instead of Yams to make their package look better.Rathbone will be good.
Broberg is going to be great.
It's not a comparison.
Panthers fans:
what’s your reasonable package looking like? Absolutely Lundell shouldn’t be included unless it’s straight up but just wonder what you think makes sense
How can someone with a career high of 39 points be a proven 60-70 point player?Good chance that Guenthers ceiling is a 60-70 point winger which Garland already is. But there is also a good chance the Guenther doesnt hit that ceiling. Guenther is also 3-5 years away from becoming that so its just accelerating a prospects development.
Draft picks are valued too highly around here. I wouldnt have choosen Guenther at 9 either based on our needs but thats another story.
Im not arguing Lundell's impact on the team, I am saying you are probably pumping him up too much. You also say Chychrun would be your 3rd best defenseman but isn't Lundell currently your 3rd (arguably 5th if you include Reinhart and Huberdeau) best center? Also there is absolutely nothing wrong with having 3 elite defensemen, look at Nashville a few years back. Ekholm was the clear 3rd best defenseman on the team and he was widely considered a top 30 dman in the league. He's FLA's number 1 PKer, leads the team in D zone faceoffs, plays 3rd line minutes with 3rd line caliber linemates, turned 20 two weeks before the season started, and is pacing for 53 points with no PP time. His performance this year and the last few outside of the NHL has suggested nothing less than a 1C lock. Not necessarily a superstar top 10 center but a clear 1C nonetheless.
He's also on an ELC for the next 2.5 seasons. It makes no sense for FLA to give up an impact piece now. He's an integral part to what makes FLA's forward depth the best in the league.
For as good as Chychrun is, he would be the 3rd best defenseman on the Panthers.
Lundell (and Knight) would extend the Panthers cup window by 5 or more years. Since Knight isn't an impact player yet we could get over the loss but losing Lundell would be a disaster and really mean the Panthers are all in this year and next.

I am not saying Florida should trade Lundell I just think you potentially placing him on a pedestal a bit too high, his numbers may be more of a factor of the teams success.
I mean he's 9th in team scoring and 8th in p/60. Lundell was widely considered to be NHL ready as soon as last year but also the most developed as in he was already nearing his ceiling. "True 1C" just seems like quite a high standard for a guy that's only played 37 games. I don't doubt he will be a good NHLer but lets ease on the brake a bit here with these predictionsHow?
What numbers exactly?
Ottawa has no need for a 1LHD. We got Chabot and Sanderson coming in next season.Chychrun will end up in one of three cities: New Jersey, Columbus or Ottawa
Cap space, need, assets, imo those are the 3 most suited to bid on JC
So you’re saying that the Kings have offered;
Tobias Bjornfot
Gabriel Vilardi
2022 1st rounder
