Arizona Coyotes Lounge XXV

Plenty of studies say otherwise but I don’t get into haggling debates over things like that.

I also don’t have any 5G signals eminating from me…. nor have an insatiable urge to sun myself and randomly snag insects to eat either.

Why not just respect someone’s feelings about meeting someone who is considered by most to be a leader in his field of work and leave it at that?
Yeah we had our back and forth and that was that, it’s all good I respect the guy and I don’t think I hurt his feelings. I can link you all of the mainstream articles with headlines of stated efficacy starting at 99% and dropping all the way down to way below 50% as the months went by, if you want. But really, what’s the point? It’s all there for you to find if you choose to.

Efficacy goes down because a virus evolves making the vaccine less effective.

They’ve tried working on one that can get all the variants but I don’t think they’ve come close yet.

It’s the same situation with flu vaccines. The flu shot you get one year may not be the one they use the following year because there’s a different variant making the rounds. Wasn’t too long ago they guessed wrong on which variant was active and the shots they distributed were indeed ineffective.

I love me a good health and fitness discussion but I’m officially bowing out of the vaccine/medical talk. Should have shut my yap in the first place. Too contentious! We’re all friends here…

Yeah for sure, last thing I’ll say is that I do get that…but that just further confirms for me that the only people that should be taking anything like that are people that would be in the danger zone from having severe symptoms…people in the high risk groups. Everyone else is pretty much fine. Moooovin’ it along!

You two are nuts if you think that pseudoephedrine doesn’t work. It absolutely does. I’m sure it’s also poison. But it most definitely makes a huge difference and very quickly.

This is a 0% chance this has any impact. Eye of newt would be as effective. ;)

I thought you two were decent, common sense, drug taking people. Not hippy dippy potion makers!!!

EDIT: I hope this comes across playfully as intended.
There’s evidence, solid evidence, that honey decreases cough. There’s also evidence for the use of turmeric.

Appreciate you. But I’m fine.

Love you Bonsai! Sincerely glad you got to meet someone in your profession you’ve looked up to…hope you know I meant no disrespect. I may not like the guy that much but I’m also sure he has done some positive things in his career too. Glad I ended up saying something though because I ended up getting a little more knowledge from your perspective and experience.

Eh, I wouldn’t be so sure. You drink a helping of that 3 times a day everyday you’re sick and it will activate and supercharge your body’s natural immune response. Isn’t going to make your sniffles go away with a snap but will most likely help you recover faster and help your blood flow and open up your airways a bit.
Only if the illness is born of night vapors escaping the earth during a full moon. Shut all windows tightly and avoid bathing at all costs. In acute situations, leeches have been shown to have great success, provided the patient has not become too melancholic. In such cases, especially in the event of excessive nervousness, removal of the molars, or possibly all teeth may be required. Unless the patient has too much Mongoloid blood, and the level of Caucasoid purity is hopelessly low. Then a strong poultice of herbs, wine, and mercury is in order.

I think I have a bad habit on this forum of assuming I’m engaging in good natured banter, and being insulting in the way buddies are insulting over beers at the poker table. Then I think it turns out that I’m actually in one of these Twitter fights where people are mad. Then I realize that not only am I jerk but I’m also a fool.

Hahaha I always assume it’s good natured banter as well…almost always no hard feelings on my end. But yeah, I’m not always sure other people are taking it that way and realizing it’s all in the spirit of good conversation either. Doesn’t help that I’m overly snarky sometimes.

But for realz though…use food and herbs regularly as medicine. It’s not voodoo. I’m not against taking the drugs when it’s really necessary, but treat food more as medicine than mouth pleasure and you won’t need the drugs hardly ever. Won’t be necessary.

:laugh:A friend of mine swears the Gov't is spreading "something." I mean, he could be on to something. Look how society is acting the last decade.:sarcasm: I think it proves how dumb a specie we are.

They are spreading something; heard of cloud seeding? Currently only done locally, but some have suggested a global program to reduce temperatures.

I used to feel a bit sad for my old rugby coach because he would post chem trail pics on Facebook. I'm now on board with that conspiracy theory. There are well researched individuals tracking it. The intelligence community talks about it publicly with the thinnest veil.

The moment I fully bought in was when I was driving back to Winnipeg from my farm and counted over 30 parallel trails evenly spaced. They went as far as the eye could see and I'd keep counting them as we crossed them on the highway. I can't believe that commercial flights would create patterns like that.

Yeah that’s definitely real. They’ve used that type of stuff to make it rain in Dubai during a drought. Ever heard of HAARP? Real program.

Best thing to tell a person who thinks planes are making chemtrails - "Be careful when you go to a cold climate, because the government will make you spread harmful chemicals in the air just by BREATHING." Then grab the popcorn and watch the hijinks ensue.

The best part is, the time for that conspiracy theory was c. 1960 when commercial jets first started crossing the sky...the fact that all the idiots waited 40+ years until after 9/11 to "notice" says a lot about them.
