Arizona Coyotes Lounge XXV

Good for the Rattlers. Being the anchor tenant will probably get them more butts in seats than they had at Footprint. That's if they bother to market it.

But the location? Good for the Rattlers but bad for the Coyote's?

The location is fine. People already go out there for football anyway so there's already a built-in fan base. But also, the Rattlers are in an extremely small niche league and consequently shouldn't be as choosy in their marketing efforts as the Coyotes were - plus, there's no "core fanbase" in one particular location of the Valley for football like there is for hockey.

But the biggest thing for them will be being the anchor tenant and not the fifth wheel in an arena whose new owner likely is thrilled to get rid of them. Also, I think DDA will be way better for Arena Football because of the lack of obstructed seats.

10-12 days per year compared to 41+.... I'd say good.

They will lose some East Valley fans but they can make those up in the west if they market it right. They had good turnouts for the playoff games they had there already.

Valley “fans” turn out for playoffs.
Just a general and obvious observation that doesn’t pertain to the Rattlers specifically.

You're reading football into my generalization, "fans" will turn out for playoff hockey as well.
I'm using the Cardinals as a comparison.

They suck worse than we do, but people are still going out there because it's on the weekend and there isn't that many games..
