They did like a dozen things more dangerous with more ill intent to Nico over the last two games too.

Tkachuk waits until the game is well over to go after Nico and send a message. Earlier in the game, he got pushed around by Severson and a few other Devils and went right to the refs complaining. Laughable combination for a 'tuff' guy.
Going to be interesting if they end up giving him in an instigator (his penalties haven't fully posted yet as he got thrown out but only has a minor so far). An instigator under 5 minutes carries with it an automatic one-game suspension.

Don't be salty. Tkachuk was terrible all night. Bennett was Florida's best player.

just saw in the standings the devils and leafs have the same number of games and points. kind of. the devils have won more games.
but the leafes have much more LOSER points.

The expectations became wild after the win streak. They are still an inexperienced team trying to figure things out. Playoffs would be a fine result, maybe win a round.

Quite a bit off-topic but ever since i joined this site, pretty much no Devils fans were posting anything, then came Hughes draft and few of them popped out of their hide. Followed by one hot start and all of sudden they were in everywhere talking about how great they’re and acting arrogant, like where were 80% of you when the team struggled? 
Fun team to watch tho, and always had nice jerseys, hope they make it in the playoffs to kinda show that you can make it without playing exactly like others.

Yeah dude we were gonna brag about being bad with multiple first overalls on our roster, we were royally pissed at our team being bad.
It’s not even remotely true on its face, though. No chest thumping main board threads like you said for sure, but plenty Devils fans participated in main board threads that addressed the Devils/their prospects. Dude just sees what he wants to see.
as a modest devils fan i am fine with them sweeping the first four playoff rounds. whatever comes after that is gravy.

For the last time: Obviously Nico is not going to have a fist fight with the opposing team's goon. It doesnt make any sense and is not a part of any "hockey etiquette". If Barkov challenges him upon return and Nico doesnt answer the bell, then you have a case.
Tkachuk's douchebaggery was exceptional and his assault on a player / person not willing to engage is not acceptable. No wonder that Devils fans were upset. Hope they behaved well on the Panthers board.
