Well this is why they have test flights. Eventually they'll figure out why the rocket kept turning over. It is known that 5 of the 33 engines failed to fire at launch, maybe that had something to do with it.

The state of Florida did an emergency notification test last night.
It was supposed to go over TV only but somebody had the wrong configuration so they woke up everyone in the state at 4:45 AM with an alert on their phones.

My husband started a new remote contract today. They do Zoom instead of conference calls.

I'm currently in Florida and mine went off at 3:45 am. Both my personal phone and work phone.
I slept through all of it. But I was awake at 4:15 anyway.

I have a friend who was living in Hawaii a couple years ago and she and everyone else got a nuclear attack warning on their phones due to a similar mistake.

My mom's funeral was today. I did pretty well until one of her favorite songs was sung by family friends of ours. And then came the waterworks.
We got a police escort through town to the cemetery on the naval base. For as much as I hate Pensacola traffic, one thing they are great at is pulling over for funerals. I mean they come to a complete stop even on the other side of a four lane highway. There was even a pedestrian who saluted.
Then when we got to the base entrance, the police escorts and the navy sentry guards all saluted. I know it's protocol but it still gives me chills.
