I’m off this week for treatment- injections and consults today & tomorrow, “glow day” on Wednesday, then 3+ days of isolation from husband & pup and the rest of the world, and hopefully not too much nausea (fingers crossed).

I bought a Geiger counter to monitor my radioactivity.

Counting on my Bruins to distract me in a good way!!
Healing Blessings!!!!

Going to Seattle and Olympic National Park next week.

We were going to spend a day exploring hurricane ridge but the NPS closed the access road without any warning for 3 months due to construction of a new lodge. Pretty pissed but we are going to take a ferry to Victoria, BC instead.

Any LF from that area @ODAAT recommend any sights in Victoria? It appears they have great gardens.

Thanks!
Well hopefully next week is going to be better weather than we have been getting recently. There is a bit to see downtown if you haven't been here before. If you are renting a car, then Cathedral Grove is nice and the drive towards Tofino. The drive up Island on the old island highway is nice as well. It is supposed to be sunny next week so that might make or break your visit as far as travelling around. Welcome to the Coast when you arrive.

I do my own taxes. Takes 2 hours and $1.20 to mail the envelope to the treasury. It's annoying but I'm not paying $100 for something I can do myself.

If anyone is interested. I submitted my claim.

How to apply for your share of Facebook's $725 million settlement in privacy suit

Facebook users who maintained an account between May 2007 and Dec. 2022 can submit a claim for their share of a $725 million class action settlement.

Facebookuserprivacysettlement.com

Get your settlement. Don't let these company get away with things like this.
I'm going to apply. I'm sure after legal fees, our share will be like $4.50 on a prepaid debit card, but why not, f*** Zuck.

I love class actions, any time you can jump on one you might as well. I got like $500 from Stubhub due to their misleading fees. The funniest was getting about $30 from Bumble after some chud sued them claiming sex-based discrimination because they only allow women to message first.

Too late now, but FreeTaxUSA is my recommendation for taxes. Federal is free and state is $15.

The place where I'm boarding Daisy this week has "Whipped Cream Wednesdays" where you pay a ridiculous $3 if you want them to give your dog a spoonful of whipped cream. I already feel bad for leaving her, and I didn't want her to see other dogs getting a treat and not understanding why she didn't get any. So yes, I forked over the $3 lol. At least they take pictures so I get to see her. I miss her right now.

Just saw this Susan. Wishing you good health, and a mild response to the "glowing". Hope you found something besides the Bruins to distract you tonight.

I always try to get my taxes done in February, to find out if I should file right away (refund!!) or wait to file until mid April :)confused:). This year it took longer because I had a full year of crypto transactions to work through, along with my computer from last year dying, with my TurboTax return saved on it, so I had to reenter some things.

I've had some wild swings in my taxes the past three years, with status changes, tax law changes, etc. So it's been quite the surprise these past several filings. Glad I got mine done early though.
