Ehh I don't think so. Small sample size but this was before last game. For someone that plays the hardest minutes and the most minutes of all our D, he wasn't really bad at all.

I am curious as to whether Knies will swap lines with Jarnkrok and if Simmonds will come in for Lafferty on the 4th.. Just for one game.. We can't have Schenn taking on this army of idiots by himself.. We can go with 11 forwards and a very light sprinkle of Wayne.
Giordano was a very distant 5th in minutes in game 4. Schenn clearly stays even though he's playing the least.

It's funny the stuff about Bunting, and even Kadri a few years ago, made headlines for making the refs look foolish or whatever, which is the explanation given when both the players seem to never get a call or get unnecessarily punished in scrums or for incidents. Then fans think those players are liabilities since they are unfairly treated for whatever dumb reason.
...but there's literally never a single thing mentioned for other teams doing it and making the refs look foolish. Every time. You think Maroon or Perry get unfairly treated for doing rat shit? Only the Leafs get this treatment of not being able to do rat stuff without having a mountain of discipline or scrutiny. It's frustrating. Maroon in particular should have been suspended for his hit on McCabe... it's so f***ing stupid.

being up 2-1 in a series should not mean f*** all for our group. They've not earned the right to sit back and enjoy a series lead at any point in time. They need to treat this game with the same sense of urgency they'd have if they were down a game. Prove you have that killer instinct. Do not settle for the split.

Another factor ROR brings, as well as Schenn. Championship pedigree, they've been there and gotten it done. There's a different culture with this team now. Last game we had every single reason to lose and just roll over. Even though Tampa dominated the entire OT, they stuck with it and competed hard. Got outplayed but didn't stop competing.
The new voices in the locker room are huge and I'm expecting the team to come out prepared this game.

Not sure why people are proposing to create a line with one of the best setup men in the league in Marner with Kerfoot...a guy who has mustered 10 goals all season.
It's a bit puzzling. They are both decent defensively but why would you waste the talent of a player who has been on-ice for 55% of all goals scored in the playoffs? Doesn't sound like a good strategy.
