First time it happened to me was scary as hell and I was crawling along the ground. I'm sure I looked like a drama queen myself.

First thing I thought of when he grabbed his chest and flipped onto his knees. If you haven’t experienced it, you are lucky. It’s scary as hell even though you know it will eventually come back. But as you are sucking nothing, waiting, your brain says maybe this is the one time it doesn’t.

I really don't know why anyone thinks Simmonds would change anything. These games have been even as far as the physical stuff goes. If there's an injury on a forward, then sure Simmonds maybe makes sense. But other than that, if healthy, keep it as is. Next game Bunting will be available anyway,

Tampa's goons take our players in the box for 5 mins. That could be Schenn or McCabe. Notice that Jeannot and Fat Maroon always go after our players who provide decent minutes for us.

We need someone who we can afford to lose for 5 mins without losing quality minutes on the ice. Unless Kampf/Lafferty/ZAR are willing to fight and sit in the box for 5 mins we need someone else to do that without it hampering our defensive pairings or top9 minutes

Brutal, someone suggested the Brave browsers to me on here and its what im using now with no issues. But Chrome, Etc were basically unusable

google chrome is the biggest piece of trash. I go to hockey DB or NHL and chrome freezes and I have to restart my browser all the time. Thanks to @kb who suggested brave browser and I've never been more happier!

but thats where we need to be smart about it. Simmonds can handle that. Clifford got it for boarding not really for fighting.

We don't need Simmonds to board anybody; just get one of their goons away from the ice for 5 mins so that they don't target/bait our players who give us minutes in the game.

Did that happen though? Stamkos and Matthews went at it, but that's about it really? All our depth have been going against their depth for the most part. Holl vs Perry, Jeannot vs Schenn.

Weakening your lineup just to insert a player primed to take a dumb penalty is just asking for it. We really don't need a 8 minute player that doesn't PK or PP tonight, unless there's an injury... at which point, I'd rather go 11-7.

I don't think anyone cares if Simmonds plays in a meaningless game against one of the worse teams in the league.
People don't see any reason for him to play against Tampa while the Leafs are winning the series.

I knew their record sucked in that scenario, but that is ridiculous. This team has been impossibly bad for so long.

He went pretty much head first into the boards, fell when skating back toward bench, and needed to be helped off the ice. Classic examples of a concussion.

I know the scrum afterwards lasted a while, but it seemed Point was back pretty quickly for someone that definitely needed mandated concussion protocols and testing.

they took Gio out for 5 mins for fighting in Gm2. It worked out for us that game. Do we really want to send our d-men to sit in the box for 5 minutes while overplaying someone else? Maroon/Jeannot are not "productive" on the statsheet but they will take someone from the Leafs who is not a 4th liner to the box for 5 minutes.

Unless one of our 4th liner takes their 4th liner out for 5 mins as a wash; it is expedient IMO that we ice simmonds. Simmonds is in as a 4th liner not to play top9 minutes. Its not like ZAR or Lafferty have been defensive juggernauts. Tampa's 4th line is skating circles around them anyway

Honestly we need to keep goading Perry into fights. I think he is Tampa's top scorer and point producer at the moment and is always a leaf killer it seems.

Skilliter might be a good thing for the Leafs tonight. He doesn’t call many penalties and I believe the leafs are 2-0 with him in the playoffs. Tampa might get away with a bunch of stuff but I think Leafs would rather play the game 5v5
