Dress the Wayne train tonight and the Bolts will be skating on eggshells all night.
There is no one that it makes sense to take out for him. Our fourth line scored a goal last game and has been flying. Everyone stood up and fought and battled and every single one of their goons got put in their place last game.

LAY IT TO EM LEAFS!!!

The idea is nice, but no.
You know Wayne's going to get a game in eventually.

Give him a game to Hound Jeannot, Perry and Maroon all game wouldn't be a bad idea.... They were playing dirty all 3rd period last game, not a bad idea to remind them they have to answer the bell to a player that doesn't mind sitting in the box for it.

The only problem would be who sits... And so far everyone deserves to play, it comes down to how effective Lafferty is... And he scored last game, so Wayne will have to wait for game 4.

It all depends on how this game turns out, but I'm betting Tampa's going to get away with a lot of dirty plays especially with the crowd behind them.

ALSO A REMINDER. Wayne has actually played very well in his last few games he's dressed... Defensively and got chances offensively.. he's been well rested and practiced with the team all year. Just something to keep in mind.

Being rested doesn’t make up for being slow and bad at hockey. He brings nothing to the team other than fists and I’m not looking for staged fights at all, especially not at the expense of someone who can provide actual strong 4th line play

And Simmonds hasn’t played very well in at least half a decade

Even at 50% he is still an impact player..

Leafs exposed TB without Hedman and Cernak.

Tampa having home ice and last change adds to the Leafs challenge.

if keefe doesn't royally F-UP; and spreads out offense there is going to be that one defensive pair that can be exploited; like bolts did with holl last playoffs and continue to do this playoffs

I think Jeannot might be someone who overdoes the physical part and gets penalized trying to earn his his keep. Would rather see a few penalties drawn than scraps in game 3, at least until the score is decided.

Is Tanner Jeannot's hand confirmed broken or have they said anything? All I know is it sure as shit looks broken to me, and I speak from experience.

I like this from keefe. Keep 'em guessing. Don't say anything to anybody until you have to before the puck drop.

Agreed fully. I don't want him out of the lineup while Maroon and Perry are on the other team.

may not be a popular opinion but I wouldn't mind dressing Simmonds with one clear message!!!

Everytime you step on the ice goad Perry/Maroon into a fight and make them sit 5 mins in the box every shift for the entirety of the game.

They'll just give us instigators. Who are you thinking of replacing with Simmonds though?

They would never confirm anything even if he did. But that amount of swelling right after, hard to not believe its at least fractured in some capacity. But hes a tough ass dude and will play through it regardless. Just might not be so eager to fight anymore.

either Lafferty or Knies.

Tampa has the last change. We need someone who can respond. Maroon/Perry are not going to stop playing dirty. Maroon basically crosschecked Gio's head onto the ice last game.

4th line plays about 5 to 6 mins anyway. We don't need Simmonds to play every single shift with the 4th line;; we can mix Willy/Marner there every odd shift.

We just need Simmonds to go out and hit the F outta Perry/Maroon and goad them into a fight so they sit 5 mins in the box.

Note: Perry/Maroon are not only goons but they have been productive in the last couple games i.e. their line is not just gooning it up but also showing up on the scoresheet. Gotta find a way to stop that while their top6 is struggling to find even strength offense

My doorbell rang a few days ago, before game 1.

Some old man was trying to shove a business card in my face for a driveway repavement.

I said nah I'm good, I'll just do my research if I feel like doing that. I was wearing my Leafs jersey, and I'd had a few beers already.

He said "I'm rootin' for those guys tonight I think they're going all the way"

I said "No, that's the wrong attitude. Hope for the best, expect the worst"

So yeah that guys not coming back anytime soon. But I stand by that.

I want to see great things happen with this team and I saw that in game 2, but I'm just gonna go ahead and keep my expectations low so that I may hopefully be pleasantly astounded.

GO LEAFS GO!

da f*** is the BwO? scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Hogan at bash at the beach in 1996?
I’d explain, but the game is only 4.5 hours away, there’s not time. Besides, I’d have to submit a report to Pinto explaining myself.

Just ignore the old folk as we while away the time yelling at people to stay off the lawn.

Seriously, stay off the lawn.
