Have a feeling tonight will be a tight checking game without many penalties. Gotta play hard and hope we go up 2-1 in the series.

If Hedman plays tonight, you know he’s not 100%, Toronto will need to finish every check they can get on him.

There was Cam Neely too.. maybe a touch more talent and not quite as Saskatchewan farm boy crazy tough but cut from the same cloth.

Again, if there is some gdt schedule that I pulled the carpet out from under I apologize. In all fairness, I was a few jolly pops deep, so…

Anyhow, no worries right, there’s going to be lots more to make this year. Go Leafs Go

I watch this about once every couple of months

GO LEAFS GO
It's a beautiful thing, that devastating right hand.

I used to like that stuff, but now, oh I don't know I guess I've become American by some strange osmosis and now abhor fighting, tie games and have come to embrace the shoot-out as the most exciting part of the game, so sayeth the godspell according to the BettMan and the Las Vegas morning line.

That actually wasn't a horrible team.
If everyone was in their career year, maybe. But lots of them were in a down season. Grabo/Kulemin/MacA were all pacing for sub 40 pt seasons in a full season. O'Byrne was getting regular minutes in the playoffs after playing 16 games in the ECHL that same season and never saw the NHL again.

The forward group wasn't bad, they had enough skill for opportunistic scoring. Defense was pretty terrible though.
I remember all the crap Randy Carlyle got for his "anti-possession" style of defense.

Dude was not a good coach but there was no coach in the world who could have made that defense work.

Soooo anyone else notice the Leafs are following the Oilers Win/Loss record in the playoffs? Lose the first game at home, win the second game at home? Oil lost their first game on the road? If we lose tonight I'm gonna lose my s#it.

Both teams had 50 wins in the regular season.
One team had 111 points the other had 109.

Is there some sort of Quantum entanglement between the Oil and the Leafs?
I think what it means is that someday soon McJeebuzz will walk across those great waters and become a Leaf

Moore > McJesus

Schenn has 7 stitches, probably right on the pressure point of his bucket too. That can’t be comfortable.

IMO the Leafs have a critical choice to make tonight.
Either go out and try to weather the storm, or go out and be the storm.

I see what you did there.
