There was a time when Wendel Clark was the undisputed toughest best hockey player in the NHL… then came the Big E.

Soooo anyone else notice the Leafs are following the Oilers Win/Loss record in the playoffs? Lose the first game at home, win the second game at home? Oil lost their first game on the road? If we lose tonight I'm gonna lose my s#it.

Both teams had 50 wins in the regular season.
One team had 111 points the other had 109.

Is there some sort of Quantum entanglement between the Oil and the Leafs?

No.

We're just going to put a Wendel Clark tribute video in here, screw it. Go Leafs Go

I remember one of those fights against Probert, Probert was calling Wendel Wendy before the game and Clarke proceeded to Absolutely toon Probert, two games in a row.

The reason why Leaf fans are so easily angry with this team is because they lack exactly what 17 and 93 had, that no one on the Leafs have, heart. If the Leafs show up and fight for every inch on the ice and lose we wont be happy but we will respect them. That will never happen, Matty and Mitch are too pretty to stick their face into a dog pile. JT is about as mellow as a guy who plays in the NHL can be, you wont see heart from him, same response win or lose. Willie give a F? Nope he's too runway model delicate to get dirty. Hopefully we can skill our way to the Cup, cause we know we wont play hard hockey to get our way to the cup.

Need a strong start with solid possession and keeping the pressure on their injured D core to set the tone.

Just win boys!

I suspect nothing has changed with this Leafs team. I really hope I’m wrong. This is absolutely the biggest game of this series, and we’ll know pretty quickly if they have what it takes, or not. If they play with fear, they will be defeated.

If they go out there and face their fears head on, I believe they will be victorious. It won’t surprise me if they crumble under the pressure again, but I’m hoping they finally figure out that they are unstoppable when they take it to the other team.

We should have him with the puck all game long, every dump, every rush, every clear. Have him moving non stop

They all do, at least for me
Rising cortisol levels make me angry. Problematic when my emotional spectrum is a binary happy or angry. No doubt contributes to my HFboard strikes.

This game scares the crap out of me.
Not me. NO FEAR!

He'd probably average 40 a year in today's hockey and avoid some of the injuries he had without the burden of having to fight every 2nd or 3rd game.

There was Cam Neely too.. maybe a touch more talent and not quite as Saskatchewan farm boy crazy tough but cut from the same cloth.

Again, if there is some gdt schedule that I pulled the carpet out from under I apologize. In all fairness, I was a few jolly pops deep, so…

Anyhow, no worries right, there’s going to be lots more to make this year. Go Leafs Go

If we have room for him it means we lost one of Marner/Matthews/Willy. And if we do it's likely because we lost again. And if McD is available it will be because he lost again. Not sure I want anything to do with that scenario and replacing losers with losers.
