Simmonds doesn’t hit and intimidate the opposition anywhere near as much as people seem to think he does. The dude is washed

Yeah it's always weird reading pre game stuff that we need someone like Simmonds in the lineup after last game. Simmonds especially just seems like a non factor every time he's in the lineup... but he can fight pretty good I guess.

Not sure it would make any sort of difference. Knies is pretty green but made more plays in 1 game than Simmonds has all season. We'll see.

Vasilesky I am expecting is hungry and wants to rebound and he's known to do so. The bolts also wants a bounce back, they are also very strong at home.

Simmonds can have a good game, as he did his likely final game and a couple of times this season, but it’s no guarantee he will and there are multiple options up front capable of providing just as much if not more of an impact. On a more consistent basis too.

I think the boys proved last game that they can do this without Simmer. We definitely need Luke out there though. There has to be one throw back on patrol.

I don’t mind Wayne Simmonds. He has energy still and he is responsible defensively and with the puck. You don’t see him turning over the puck or completely botching his defensive assignments. He takes costly penalties though, pretty much guaranteed.

If have wanted Keefe to spread out the offense building a top 9 even before ROR arrived with one $11 mil player per line and build around that.

If Keefe goes back to top 6 with ROR in that mix again, one has to wonder what the hell is he thinking when the mismatches happen by spreading the offense.
