Ok so I've about had it with not watching Hawk games. I have Comcast/Xfinity, which was $247 a month including high speed internet (1TB data limit). Its actually $240 right now due to the discount from NBC Sports Chicago being gone.
For internet, in West Dundee I don't really have many choices as far as I know besides Xfinity. The Verizon or T-mobile 5G home internet doesn't hold up well for streaming I've been told. I called Comcast and it's $116 a month, including tax, to keep the same high speed internet, but upgrade to unlimited data...and to drop the tv package.
So I was looking at getting the Direct tv 'choice' package, which includes CHSN. It looks like its $112.98 a month plus tax. So you figure once tax is added in, I'm probably around the same money.
Thoughts, ideas, warnings, anything...before I take the plunge? I'm hoping to do something this coming holiday weekend when I have some time.
