Rockford is a really weird mix of all of it
Things close at 6pm instead of 5?A whole different beast, really
"toxic hyperindividualism"?? Not true. Americans are among the most charitable people on the planet. We strived to be a "Melting Pot" culturally and have become a "Mosaic". People increasingly identify with their particular ethnic, sexual, or racial group rather than being unified as one..It's not a mental health issue. It's a culture issue. American culture is rotten to its core.
This is what you get when toxic hyperindividualism is a virtue.
Americans, as a group, care about nobody but themselves. If it doesn't affect them they don't care and don't want to pay for it.
Well my 2012 Mazda has 270k and just has so many electrical issues, and its time to let it go. I've never bought anything nice and I want to. Not sure if someone is familiar with the 50-70k range of 4 door sedans like S5, M340, even open to SUVsWhat did you need to know?
Ah, I figured you had a technical question of some sort. I just bought a 2020 Grand Cherokee last year and absolutely love it. Looking to buy my wife a crossover SUV later this summer, but haven't started shopping and researching much, yet. So I'm not much help in this regard.Well my 2012 Mazda has 270k and just has so many electrical issues, and its time to let it go. I've never bought anything nice and I want to. Unless you have more money than you know what to do with, spending $70k on a car is a piss-poor move. You can get a great car for half that.
Yeah I get that mindset. Its a terrible financial decision, but I also only live one time and if you did everything by what was financially savvy life would be boring. I don't have "more money than I know what to do with" as in like, a multi-millionaire, but I can afford it normal and it wouldn't be anything other than just another bill. Idk how to say it without sounding like an asshole.Unless you have more money than you know what to do with, spending $70k on a car is a piss-poor move. You can get a great car for half that.
My dad has a CT5 and absolutely loves the thing. Burning money on cars is fine if that's what you want to burn money on. No different than the thousands of other expensive hobbies.Yeah I get that mindset. Obviously If you take home 4K a month and 1k is your car payment that’s an awful move but if your payment is 1k and you take home 11k I don’t think that’s a big dealMy dad has a CT5 and absolutely loves the thing. No 100% agree with you on that one. Me and my dad did every baseball stadium together and i wouldn’t trade those memories for any dollar amountIt’s your money to do with what you want, absolutely. For me, life is about experiences. Shows, World Series tickets, travel, etc. People on their deathbeds wish they experienced more. No one on their deathbed ever wishes they bought the Acura instead of the Honda. Just my two cents.
