I only learned recently that strawberries will taste how they smell. Sometimes they look perfectly red and beautiful but have no smell, and those will have no taste.

As an aside, I’m allergic to strawberries.

Went to California a couple months ago and had the best and freshest tasting strawberries, avocados (5 for $1!!), artichokes, and leafy greens/lettuce ever. It tasted like i've been eating different produce my whole life prior.
