Man, that night was ****ing weird, seems like so long ago. I remember blanking out on ordering the nacho and being too drunk to eat much of it. This time I drink socially and go home afterwards, no more downtown trips alone for me, thank god I came out of those trips unscathed.

I drank more socially at the 2nd one where you stayed out seeing the city until noon the next day.

The first one I put back a lot of alcohol, though. I think everyone in attendance did.

Should I update my picture? I noticed most people have changed their avatar's away from older players.

I forget who it was but someone here used to have a Kopecky avatar.

Ohhhhhh, the annual "Your Home Owner Insurance rates are increasing!" event

In Texas, it's brutal because of hail storms. My rates went up 15%, I did have a claim last year though.

Saturday it rained all day in SLC, so we decided to go to Moab, UT for the day. About a 3 hour drive from the city. Just an incredible place. Not my pics, but this is the idea...

Purchased a new truck over the weekend. 2018 Chevrolet Silverado LT DBL Cab. Have wanted a truck for a while now, and my last lease just ended up coming to an end at the perfect time. Leasing it for 24 months for about $250/month. My first big time post-college purchase (even though I still don't graduate for another month - it counts lol).

How much down? That payment doesn’t seem too bad for what you got.

My wife and I talked about getting a truck in the future, but man we haven’t had a car payment for years at this point. If we do it will for sure be something used with some recent mileage on it. I can’t stomach paying anymore than even like $150 a month at this point, and even that little still makes me cringe.

No down payment down. Just the first month of the lease.

Yes and no. Haven’t made a decision yet, but I basically have two options that will for sure be there. Either an insurance guy or workin in the finance department at my family car dealership.

Good luck to you. I strongly advise you go out on your own for your first job for a variety of reasons. You’re lucky to have a backup option with your family but best to do that later on, if you do.

I suspect you’re always going to wonder what it would be like to go out on your own if you don’t do that. And although there is no business in my family, I suspect they will respect you more if you go out on your own then maybe come back regardless of what they say about it now.

Appreciate the advise.

My first choice is actually to go out on my own. I’m waiting to see what their offer is at this point - theyre working with a consulting firm to make an official position and formal duties before offering the position. Honestly, it comes down to compensation. I don’t need it to be higher, because I’ll go with a lower paying job, but if they’re not even in the same ballpark, going to be difficult to turn down the job with family.
