Why would they get rid of Goff? Did something happen? They should have never taken him away from Spiegel.

I actually like Mac, although he's sort of a tragic figure and I'm sure this won't last longer than a year or so before he's out again.

Wierd that they would bring him back. While I find the score really frustrating, I still prefer it to ESPN.

So what you're saying is it won't really change much?

Can't stand The Score at this point. It's hard to listen to. Especially if they try to talk hockey.

Right, Rozner is intentionally negative. He’s one of those guys where you say to him hey, it’s a nice day out. Meh, it’s a little cloudy. How bout them Hawks last night? They got lucky. Hey, your wife brought over her snickerdoodles, they were really good. She lied, they’re from the bakery.

Sounds like theres a bigger shake up than just Goff. Spiegal sounds like he's basically a part timer now

Mac is joining Parkins in the morning. Conor McKnight is joining Bernstein afternoons. Spiegel is bumped to weekends and spot duty. Decision came from the very top, above Mitch Rosen, against the wishes of him and literally everyone else at the station. Guy at the top wanted Mac back and Jason was the odd man out. Not announced or public knowledge yet but that's what I was told. Clown shoes all around, if you ask me.

Mac is a blowhard and I have no interest in listening to him. I think Laurence Holmes deserves a day-time spot and contrary to popular belief, he wants one. I liked Spiegel as well, especially when it came to baseball. Just odd decisions all around. No idea where McKnight came from, but..ok?

McNeil has more lives than a cat. Score trying to dip back into that old, white, dumb demographic by bringing him back.

Fired into the sun if it were up to me. She is the absolutely worst in every possible way. Terrible champion for women.

Firing her into the sun might be too quick and easy for her. Fire her off into space with no direction other than to slowly revolve around the earth for the rest of eternity.

Yeah she came off bad in the Patrick Kane ordeal. I'm surprised she still works there.

Everyone at The Score came off bad, but she was by far the worst, with the hack that is Bernstein a close second. Bernstein was literally calling him a rapist on the air and saying the Hawks should immediately terminate his contract just a few hours after the initial story broke...
Bunch of f***ing clowns over there. I haven't listened to them with any regularity since then. Absolutely no journalistic integrity whatsoever.

Yea I usually only listen to Mully and Hanley in the mornings anyway so. Hate to see Goff go though, but I didn't like him much with Bernstein.

Mully and Hanley are f***ing terrible but they have no competition in that time slot so they don't go anywhere. Worst sports takes in the city on that show, especially on Hanley's part. Clowns. Their producer is the worst guy on radio in the city, too. Literally the worst.

Haha Mully ain't that bad. I mostly tune in to the 5 in 5 and that's about it. I hate their producer Dustin though. Kevin is great but he gets overshadowed.

He. Is. The. Worst. Little contrarian troll with some of the worst takes in the history of mankind. Blows my mind how some people manage to maintain employment on-air in sports.

Jay Zawalski safe?

Speaking of JZ, his podcast with James Naveau has slowly become terrible and it is 100% due to James Naveau. JN is just clueless and he comes off like a dickhead. He has a total Laz feel to him. 100% a guy that seems like a writer who thinks he is right because he is a writer. The complete opposite of Scott Powers.

Connor McKnight is good. He used to produce for the score and they seemed to be grooming him for a bigger role begore that failed fm sports radio station poached him a few years back.

I don't know how Holmes keeps getting passed over, unless he really doesn't want a permanent show there.

I only really listen to the Score when they have guests on (generally at 8AM and 5PM). Other than that it's tough to listen to.

That said, they're better than whatever garbage ESPN is trotting out.

Holmes wants a permanent daytime slot and has for a while. From what I told he really wanted the spot Parkins took. For whatever reason he hasn't gotten a spot and I feel he should. I like him a lot.

Agreed about Neveau. He's a nice guy but he's not all that knowledgeable, in my opinion. Jay and Scott should do a podcast together.
