Gallant is out there, bring him in see what he can do. I know he has a short shelf life, but it shouldn't matter to us right now.
The result would have been the same with most of the goalies in the league
The Sprong goal was a clear indication he still has no clue where is net is. Why go for the poke. Stay positionally sound probably make the save
Wings are top 5 in scoring this year and now getting good goaltending. They will be up there the rest of the year.

The rest of this month could be Keefes last imo if this western road trip is bad. Got a week off after the 2 Jets games and that'd be the perfect time to fire him and bring in someone new to give them a week to get the team familiar with a new system. Not an easy stretch with Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle and then the Jets x2.
Boy he sure milked that Nylander hot-streak for everything it was worth. Guy is absolute and utter dogshit when he's not playing with Marner or Nylander.

I'd say Samsonov neither drastically improved nor diminished his standing with this start. Really not thrilled with the team garnering a grand total of zero points throughout the weekend slate of games though. Good on Marner for achieving that milestone at least.

Outside of the two San Jose games, the offense has not been good lately. Yeah, some unforced turnovers in the D zone have been costly, but we're not giving ourselves much room for error when the offense is struggling

I’m not gonna lay the blame on a 4-2 loss completely on Samsonov. From what I saw, everyone was pretty ass
I was looking more big picture and him taking back the starting role, but maybe I should worry about making the playoffs lol
This game had 2 real purposes for me: see if Samsonov can secure a win and see if Samsonov can have a good game
He failed both of them, I’m done with him, never want to see him again
