Lagesson should be in the lineup over Timmins right now, simply because he's much better in his own end. I'm not even sure Timmins is an upgrade over Gio, but I guess it gives him a night off.

Lagesson and Timmins should be in, Gio and Brodie out.

Gio and Brodie are not part of this team beyond this season. We need to see what we have in Timmins and Lagesson, and how/if they fit long term, and the only way to know is play them.

We saw the same stupid ahit from Keefe last season, sitting Liljegren, wrecking his confidence and messing his development, to overplay Holl, who was a UFA and also not part of the long term picture here.

We know what the right thing to do is, we just never do it, and then we trade these young guys to see them do well elsewhere.

It’s maddening but that’s Keefe.

Now that I think about it, the promo may have been 2 bigmacs for 2 bucks but couldn't order more than 2 orders per person or something like that, think it was 2001ish time...
Buddyy and me would go for lunch and then back after school, too much bigmacs. Lol

But ya either way, shits way dumb expensive now for bigmacs and stuff.

Not looking forward to this game with Samsonov in net. This could be a complete disaster.

It really isn't.

Throwing out the 3-3 OT (a gimmick designed to produce a goal in less than 5 mins because 5 on 5 and 4 on 4 didn't) and the shootout (basically a coin flip) the Leafs are 13-11-16.

That's an accurate evaluation of how this team stacks up when playing a 60 minute hockey game. 40 games in, they have won 2 more games than they have lost, and have had 16 ties. IMO that is very mediocre

How is that a stupid evaluation of the team?

Keefe: Giordano will be out tonight. Timmins will come in. Aside from that, we had a couple of injuries last night — one that is probably going to require a lineup change and at least one that will be a game-time decision. We will get that sorted out tonight.

Why do we gotta give him anything? We already gotta gave him so many chances this season and he shit the bed every time. The guy is on a one year deal, what is the forever loyalty? The only thing I can compute, we're very worried Woll is hampered the rest of this year, which is scary.

The Leafs are 21-11-8 .625 point percentage while the wings are 21-16-5 . 560 . Wings are only 3 pts back, but have played 2 more games.
Should be a good one tonight.
