So our team that lacked a big time scoring threat has now lost MaxPac and Svechnikov for three season.... We might get hurt in the playoffs all we have for high end talent is Aho and Necas.

While agree.. There is teams who has not win in a 70 year or something
We last won the Cup 17 years ago. For Montreal it's been 30 years. For Toronto it's been LOL years. They haven't even won a single series since the season before we won that cup. More than a third of the league has never won.

We're pretty much league average at having nice things historically, even with our years in the basement. Injuries happen to everybody, even to star players. It's a 32 team, zero sum league. Shit is hard.

Interesting, if I heard him correctly, he said in 2020 when he sprained his ankle and tore his MCL, he also had a slight tear of his ACL. So sounds like it was "pre-weakened"?
Could be. Slight ACL tears heel on their own (signed person who did that). It’s certainly possible it did never fully heal or was more susceptible to the full rear.
