This trade was demanded & initiated by the Blues system broadcasters, not wanting to deal with having to pronounce Biakabutuka
What the hell is St. Louis doing? Lol
Yeah, theyre trying to compete. Doesn't mean that money couldnt have been used better else where. It's not really that hard to figure out why this trade was made. Use your thinking cap.

Think you dropped your thinking cap.
For the assets they gave up and the cap hit of the player they received I would say it would be hard to spend that money better.Yeah, theyre trying to compete. Doesn't mean that money couldnt have been used better else where.

What makes moving Parayko difficult is you'd have to be so substandard at evaluating hockey players to even want to.Look for Faulk to be the next veteran victim, who’s lost a step, to end up somewhere else. Parayko is just gonna be too hard to move right now.
I’m really surprised they moved Fowler before game 1,000.
Tell me you have no idea what you're talking about without telling me you have no idea what you're talking about.Do you honestly think they didn’t try moving him last year? If there’s a contract that’s gonna turn into an anchor, it’s likely his. So unless they start showing signs they’ll compete over the next few years, they’ll move him, if they get the chance.
The Blues are pretty good about getting out in front of things. He’s 31. It only takes him losing a little foot speed and he’s toast for the next 5 years at $6.5m. Something that usually happens in your early 30s if you have size, and it happens quickly.
If it does, he’ll end up a real expensive buy out.
Ana got a 2022 1st and seconds in 23 and 24 for Lindholm at the TDL.Yup, that could have returned enough young assets to jump start a retool. It may be understandable that they wouldn't throw in the towel one year after a playoff appearance, a common mistake (we're seeing it with a few teams now), but still a mistake.

They did him bad when it was reported he was ready to move on? Seems they did him a solid…Wow! So Trouba in and Fowler out…
Anaheim did Fowler bad, 9 games away from 1000 as a Duck…brutal
They have an uninspiring NHl roster, average prospect pool and a geriatric and expensive blueline. As a fan of a rival team, I also have really liked what they have been doingI really like what the Blues have been up to for the past 6 months.

Fleury will be 5 years into retirement the next time St. Louis is relevantBlues fans love seeing playoff choker fleury in the division as well, even if we've only only seen the benefit one time.

I’d recommend checking the current league standings. Worst part, is Minnesota has better talent at literally every position than STL too. And more youth. OuchHow long into retirement will it take for the wild to be relevant for the first time in history?
