He is a few weeks from being able to play, so they can probably IR him while they deal with the cap

There isn't anything on the cap to deal with until they get an agreement out of Lindholm. They're under the cap with this deal and him going straight to IR won't change anything else really since they had 23 before the signing.

solid deal for the Ducks. Not sure how they're going to get Lindholm signed though. Interesting times ahead

Not bad.

On another note, does this guy's name remind anyone of Rochelle Rochelle from Seinfeld? Literally the first thing that comes to mind when I hear this guy's name.

What does this mean? That he'll average 3,8 per season or that he'll get it over 6 years? Per season I guess?

Yay...

I consider him our most creative forward, and I think the contract is very good... he's on of those players who's kinda good at everything, very versatile.

We really need the help up front. Now BM can take his time with Lindholm and attempt to backpedal out of the Thing 2 and Thing 3 contracts...

If you wanted rakell on a long term deal it's good but personally I don't think it's wise to commit so much to a player had half 1 good year.

Lindholm is another matter and I'd give 6 years without thinking.

Wow, great patience by Murray leads to a great deal. In a few years that's gonna look great. In fact it is a good deal now too!
