Both our AHL goalies are out... and with Gibson out d2d, we prob needed another goalie.

that means Gibson is not going to be a duck much longer or he is injured. In any case the crease is clearly Dostal's now.

The Red Wings had Jack Campbell and Husso in the AHL, along with top goalie prospect Sebastian Cossa. As a result, Cossa was losing starts to the vets. Glad to see this resolved as a Cossa keeper league owner.

This was in a discussion about Cossa, where I said Husso wasn’t good, and Detroit fans were praying Cossa pans out. This poster responded by implying Cossa was just as good as Fleury/Gustavsson, Bobrovsky, Cam Talbot, Joonas Korpisalo.

Before people put the cart before the horse Husso has spent most of the year on the farm and the Ducks have two goalies with Dansk and Dostal already with Gibson out.
Husso is on 4.6 and then UFA so congrats on Wings moving his contract and taking nothing back

Clang + Suchanek are out... and Dansk is with the ducks with gibsons injury.
So i think we only have 1 goalie in AHL right now.

I wonder if he's going to spend at the deadline? They certainly have cap space and assets. With their recent record and sitting in wildcard 1 spot I'd like to see them be aggressive at the deadline and go for a playoff spot. Wings have been out of the playoff long enough.
I wouldn't read too much into this add for the Ducks. Husso is a depth piece. If they were moving out Gibson in a trade they could very likely need to take a goalie back for cap reasons. Oilers as an example would have too.
