This was in a discussion about Cossa, where I said Husso wasn’t good, and Detroit fans were praying Cossa pans out. This poster responded by implying Cossa was just as good as Fleury/Gustavsson, Bobrovsky, Cam Talbot, Joonas Korpisalo.

Ottawa? Nope

Florida? Very debatable

Toronto? Nope

NJ? Very debatable

Pens? Nope

Buffalo? Nope

Husso is at the same level as all these teams current starters.

So I guess all these teams NEED their goalie prospect to pan out or theye ruined?

Suchanek and Clang which ideally were our San diego starters are out.

Dansk is called up with Gibson out

That's a really nice cap move by Yzerman.

I wonder if he's going to spend at the deadline? They certainly have cap space and assets. With their recent record and sitting in wildcard 1 spot I'd like to see them be aggressive at the deadline and go for a playoff spot. Wings have been out of the playoff long enough.

I wouldn't read too much into this add for the Ducks. Husso is a depth piece. If they were moving out Gibson in a trade they could very likely need to take a goalie back for cap reasons. Oilers as an example would have too.
