I'm not quite sure how you see that as being in poor taste, pointing out that the Leafs have encountered something similar before?I’m usually a huge Joe Bowen fan, but listening to the game while driving today, he mentioned Amirov and before saying anything that actually mattered(get well, this is horrible etc) he links it to another Leaf prospect that we drafted that had a heart murmur and never played again…then basically said leafs had bad luck with this stuff. Thought that was in poor taste and not necessary.
Luca Cereda.....I'm not quite sure how you see that as being in poor taste, pointing out that the Leafs have encountered something similar before?
Yes, I remember also Jeff Ware 15th overall but blew his already wonky knee to shreds in the Memorial CupLuca Cereda.....
the poster mentioned that it was in poor taste to mention it in relation to AmirovLuca Cereda.....
Yeah, I mean.....unless they think it's a slur against non-Canadians? Otherwise, it seems to be a harmless comment.the poster mentioned that it was in poor taste to mention it in relation to Amirov
what I was wondering was how Bowens comment was construed as being in poor taste

Read the post above^Luca Cereda. Not sure how that’s in poor taste other than someone bringing some additional history to the story.
Poor taste because it’s a human being having serious medical issues not getting a flat tire on the way to workI'm not quite sure how you see that as being in poor taste, pointing out that the Leafs have encountered something similar before?
But from what it looks like......nothing bad was said. I get that outrage culture is prevalent, but we should save outrage for real issues.Poor taste because it’s a human being having serious medical issues not getting a flat tire on the way to work
I don’t think it’s outrage to call a comment poor taste, sorry if that offends you.But from what it looks like......nothing bad was said. I get that outrage culture is prevalent, but we should save outrage for real issues.

I don't think there was any outrage in my post.
I just didn't think a 'Woe is Me" type of tone or comment from Joe Bowen(regarding the Leafs) was really necessary or important.
And this was from February folks lol, lets move on.
Here now! Enough of that!!!Didnt Karel Pilar have some heart thing too? And The Monster too.
Didnt Karel Pilar have some heart thing too?
yeah. we haven't been good in the draft, but we sure as hell haven't been lucky either.
Great to hear that the recovery is going well, and apparently well enough to considering playing this year.
