McMichael is nothing special imo.
we’ve got prospects who blow him out of the water

Berard bonanzaYeah but what about when they get the best player in the draft AND the steal of the draft?
Bc that may have happened in their 2020 draft.
Really? Forward prospects? Potential center prospects?McMichael is nothing special imo.

I would put McMichael right there with Kravtsov as our top forward prospect. He'd easily be a top five or six prospect for us.Really? Forward prospects? Potential center prospects?

If you consider Kakko graduated, then he's the third-best forward in our system behind Lafreniere (who is going to be better than every forward prospect by default) and Kravtsov (and he's a bit iffy). Being the third-best forward prospect in arguably the deepest system in the game is not insignificant, especially again considering one of the guys ahead of him is the best forward prospect in the game.Yeah considering that we have Lafreniere from the last draft and Kakko from the McMichael draft, yes. I realize that he had gaudy OHL numbers last year, but so did everyone else. That league was a gong show last season. I wouldn't put him ahead of Kravstov either as even pouty, pissed off at Rangers management Kravtsov would have torched the O last year.
He's pretty meh for me all around though. As far as overall position on our prospect list goes, McMichael wouldn't crack our top 5 (assuming Igor still counts.) If we want to expand that to players 25 and under, He may not even crack our top 10 (and if he does, hes at the very end of that list.) I don't subscribe to positional value when it comes to W vs C, and I'd rather have an excellent winger than a good center anyway.
Not a player I'm going to get too broken up about not having. I like Tomasino much more as a player, but even then he also would come in towards the bottom of that list.
Heinola is really good though. We've more than hit our quota on undersized D, but he would play here. Theres a case to be made there, but I'd counter with this: How many undersized D can a team run out there realistically? Like in the regular season it's fine, but once the playoffs start its a different animal (I hate saying this because I feel like Milbury when I do, but it's true.)
Personally? I wouldn't want any more than 2.
Gord Miller just accused MSG of inflating sog totals.
yeah not a handsome manPeyton Krebs looks like a giant tooth.

Trouba would be dominating the WJC if he was thereTrouba better live up to his contract because Heinola looks like a Q. Hughes lite and Tomasino and McMichael look like A prospects.
NHL network might be messing up. We're not getting the game down south. Not sure if it's on a delay or not.
Down south they care about hockey so little the NHL network airs college football instead.
