Amazon Prime Monday Night Hockey

Do you not shop on Amazon?
Actually, no. If I need something like an external hard drive or a laptop, I still go to the store because I'm somewhat impatient and have also seen too many reviews for products on there where water bottle-pissing-in employee accidentally grabs and ships the wrong item.

There's some extremely triggered people that have turned against Amazon over the last couple days because the Washington Post is not endorsing a candidate (the candidate they want) this year.
I'm not American for one thing, my comment came before that news you are referring to as well. Not everything is about your obsession with the online culture wars.

I'd wager there's also a bunch of people who had no opinion or a negative opinion of Amazon that suddenly feel the need to defend its honor based on what you're saying.

Everything we buy is packaged, like it is at the store, but is it ever convenient to buy a laptop or TV and have it delivered the next day.

I've never had a wrong product shipped to me and anytime I did order something that I didn't end up liking, the return process was easy. As much as I despise Bezos, I've had zero issues with ordering with Prime.

The NFL should pull out from the Netflix deal after that joke of a live fight where Tyson wasn't allowed to hit him too hard, that was absolute crap. Amazon NHL was pretty damn smooth and clear.

This matchup features two Original Six teams steeped in history and offers an exciting opportunity for fans to catch some of the NHL’s rising stars and established veterans on the ice.

This game promises prime-time action you won’t want to miss.

I did it by phoning my bank and getting them to cancel my visa card and sending me a new one.

LOL 🤣

Im gonna say, the image quality on Prime is sublime, puts everything else to shame....

But..

The production values themselves leave much to be desired - Feels small scale in comparason to Sportsnet and even TSN.

Andi P with a long ass outro and they dont even have background music playing for her, tiny intermission panel, no big names, no studio, just live on location - annoying cuts to fans in background, etc, etc, I could go on.

Finally, tonight's game will be broadcast on Prime Video, the exclusive English-language broadcaster of all national Monday night NHL games in Canada, as of this season.

For Canadiens fans watching in English across the country, this will be the third of five Habs games streamed on the video service in 2024-25.

What do you mean by finally,

When you said this will be the third broadcast on Prime.

Last week's Leaf game was the first one I've watched of the Leafs on Amazon Prime. Some of the attributes of the broadcast were better (ie. the sound, although to an extent it sounded fake and/or pumped in to me...almost video game'ish). But beyond that to me it had a very Leafs TV feel to it. Nothing horrible. Nothing ground-breaking. As you said, small scale.

Was it ever nice seeing Adnan Virk on a Canadian broadcast again though. He is top notch.
