I would never buy a computer or tv online. I want to ask questions for one thing.
I had my Sony Bravia delivered just before the start of the season and never spoke to a person. I researched everything online and it couldn’t have been easier.

Everything we buy is packaged, like it is at the store, but is it ever convenient to buy a laptop or TV and have it delivered the next day.
And set on the front steps in the rain without even ringing the door bell or checking if anybody is in. No thanks. Not sure what it is but delivery service in Edmonton is deplorable whether with Amazon or Purolator etc. Electronics don't do well in the rain. Even in a soggy box, can be impact. PLus if you watch deliveries at all they make sure to bounce whatever off the pavement a couple times giving no f*** whatsoever. Thats when they even deliver it to right door. we've had stuff go to neighbors. Some of who are kind enough to let us know.

Never trust Amazon again and I sure don't want to pay for prime. People paying up for this are basically begging the next TV contract to go in several different directions requiring MORE subscriptions to watch.

It’s Prime Monday Night Hockey. Fans are in for a treat this Monday night as the Chicago Blackhawks take on the Toronto Maple Leafs in a marquee showdown in Toronto.

This matchup features two Original Six teams steeped in history and offers an exciting opportunity for fans to catch some of the NHL’s rising stars and established veterans on the ice.

This game promises prime-time action you won’t want to miss.
This is a non paid advertisement? lol

Oh look its Prime stole the games and we don't watch Mondays. Oh well.

Where I live that’s rarely a problem. Our usps, fed ex, and ups drivers are exceptional and leave the packages under the porch, in the shop, or in the barn.

Delivery service is generally deplorable here. Which is odd what with how many people complaining its hard to get jobs. In Canada we have the dual problem of Rain and cold weather and electronics don't like to be around in -30C at all...

Prime rules , delivers a better product in it's first year than anything bell or rogers produces.
Which explains why almost all Montreal games that Prime has had have seen vast majority of viewers watching on RDS. No horse in this race. I'm not subscribing. From a consumer pov just saying no to having to have more subscriptions.

I don't give a toss about product. Just watching the game. i don't watch anything before or between periods. Prime is just as sad as anybody else. Advertising 4k and not delivering it. 1080 at best.

I'm hoping Prime NHL experiment fails so that they don't get more games. I guess thats my horse.

This just in as well but when the streaming services get all of pro sports the subscription price won't be so cheap. Mark it down.

Electronics at -30 are perfectly fine as long as you don't just bring them inside and power them up.

For the most I'd agree. But people tend to power up 4K TV's pretty fast. Thus an automatic problem. But vast majority of consumer research on this have been in places that consider -2 as cold. I know all the manufacturers say cold weather is fine for electronics to be left out, but not necessarily based on Canadian winters.

In anycase soggy electronics is as much my concern. Yes I've had expensive electronics delivered on the doorstep in the pouring rain and left there. Multiple times. never again.
