Who is TaccotTaccot cant seem to control or at least maintain a locker room. Not the exact same problem in arizona but there were leadership issues too.

im guessing the other ways failed. this doesn't seem like it was their first attemptIm not sure if this is the best way to light a fire under his ass
I think it's like if you took Tocchet and a deck of tarot cards, put them both in a blender, and added some bath saltsWho is Taccot
I honestly think Pettersson has made a trade request already back in the summer.
Sieders not over paid. No one's trading fair value.Let's make it fun one for one EP for Seider
It's almost 100 million dollars, guaranteed, you'd do it too. You should be asking why did Vancouver offer that? Then why did he sign that contract?
Likes his money and he signed in March. Then why did he sign that contract?
His play was slipping and he wanted to lock in the money. Then why did he sign that contract?

Like he wouldn’t have gotten an insane contract elsewhere as well?
If he knew at the time that he wants out you’re not going to sign that contract and give the leverage to the team. You won’t extend and force Vancouver to trade you and negotiate with a team you want
Well the GM gave a very soft swede a huge contract. A big part of the blame is on the GM. Everyone knew that 11.6 mil for a soft player is f***ing insane. Why criticize the GM? They’re paying him $11.6m AAV to have basically been a 70 point player since last calendar year and be a ghost in the playoffs.
Vancouver needs more out of him and the GM is rightfully calling him out. This is the NHL, there are expectations here
and an 8 million dollar contract for a north american asshole who has a history of being a distruption that carries through until he is 37 is a solid hockey moveWell the GM gave a very soft swede a huge contract. He's played with no self confidence for almost a year now, and he needs that even more than most because he'll never have the size to brute-force plays.Legit question, why has EP been getting so much flack for what seems like a couple seasons? Is he lackadaisical or afraid to get dirty?
Also, it seems that Miller is the only constant in this Canucks soap opera. I remember they traded Horvat and kept Miller, why is it now Miller vs Petterson?

Well, I'm not saying he wouldn't of gotten big money somewhere else, but it's a bird in hand vs two in the bush. The contract was on the table for him and it's over 90 million just shy of 100 million.
Kid was mid twenty's, not rich, and just got generational wealth placed Infront of him. FOR MOST... it's an easy choice in a violent sport, in fact, he made the right choice obviously, Vancouver would not re-offer that contract and the way things are going, no he'd likely not get 11.5 million per in the open market this year, just my thoughts.
At the moment they paid for a regular 100 point player and are cashing in on a guy that's looking more near 80-70 points(right now)
its hard to get or replace that level of talent in a player. you sign that deal and hope maturity takes care of the little problems. its a risk and so far it hasnt worked out the way the canucks have hoped.Well the GM gave a very soft swede a huge contract. sounds a bit like mackinnon. miller would be great in colorado. maybe the avs try something around middlestadt+The more I hear about the Canucks drama the more I think of JT Miller as Blake Wheeler. He's not wrong, he's just a dick.
Except the focus is on the soft swede not the asshole, because if called out he goes home and everyone has to p***yfoot around him.2 things can be true at once you know.
The fact it needs to be clarified that it's a soft "Swede" and not just a soft "player" should tell you all you need to know about the poster's biases.and an 8 million dollar contract for a north american asshole who has a history of being a distruption that carries through until he is 37 is a solid hockey move
Sounds like EP dug this hole himself and management is trying anything at all to get him going. Who knows how many meetings they've had behind closed doors before they decided to vent to the mediaA real axxx move by Alvin. Lowers the players value, publicly shames the player, lowers his self esteem and let's him know This is Miller's teams and Elias is basically a side piece.
Miller will be a nobody in 3 seasons, Petterson will be in his prime years. Classic Canucks
Not rich WTF?Well, I'm not saying he wouldn't of gotten big money somewhere else, but it's a bird in hand vs two in the bush. The contract was on the table for him and it's over 90 million just shy of 100 million.

Still as a player he has been worth his contract and you really can't dispute that can you?and an 8 million dollar contract for a north american asshole who has a history of being a distruption that carries through until he is 37 is a solid hockey move
